  1. OK...this isn't a toy. But if you have kids, this is a necessity. We can't poke umbrellas in the ground where my son plays soccer because it is astroturf. So I just ordered two of these. One for us and one for my sister.

This is a great find, thanks OP!

  2. That's funny about the lady with all the bounty paper towels because @ 50%, those 2 pks are still more expensive than buying the bulk packs at BJ's or Costco!

Hit Target around 10:30am, and was surprised to see candy was only 15% off! Really??? Another Target had candy at 30%. I remember candy always being 50% off after a holiday; and I needed it for pinata candy next month! Went to another Target in later afternoon and it was slim pickens. I think waiting for 75% this year will be a bust.

  3. Hmm.. I read your review and I was curious so we opened ours Today. Well, it was actually last night but directions said to charge it first for 8 hrs. so we didn't get to test it until Today. I have to say I had the complete opposite experience with it so far.. We turned it on and hubby kept saying how cool this thing is and how it is well worth the 37.xx. Now, my hubby is big time into Blu-ray technology and high definition (he's very up-to-date on TV/DVD stuff) so he doesn't get easily impressed but he LOVED this DVD player.

It seems very sturdy and easy to operate. No problems with resolution what-so-ever. We did have a minor problem in the beginning, as per my hubby's words, when he first turned it on the player didn't work. It would not play anything and after careful inspection hubby noticed a little piece of plastic stuck in the place where the reader is (I have no idea where that is.) So he used our Laptop blower/cleaner and once the plastic got blown away it started working like a charm!

I also want to mention that the charging-blinking light was only on for a few hours (not entire 8 hrs.) Not sure if that meant battery got completely charged much sooner but we kept charging it for full 8 hrs. just in case.

So far I'm happy about this purchase!!

Glad yours was fine, but I now see why it wasn't rated very well. The other thing we noticed was that the cover didn't open wide. I can see my kids EASILY scratching dvd's while putting them in. We're going to opt for a regular portable dvd player; too bad I won't find one for $37!

  4. Got a great deal on some kids sleeping bags today.

###091120440 4 pc. set includes: Slumber Bag, Water bottle, Flashlight & Backpack. They were $11.99 marked down to $1.48:eyepoppin Couldn't find them @ Target.com, but I found them on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW!-Pink-Owl-Backpack-Slumber-Set---Sleeping-Bag-acces_W0QQitemZ290291455657QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090125?IMSfp=TL090125075005r7916

For anyone in the West Little Rock area, they probably had 100 of these. I saw them in at least 5 different places.

That's a great price!. Every Target I saw this at, it was $2.98. They also have the camo set for boys.

  5. For those who wanted to get the FP dvd player and couldn't get it, find comfort in knowing it's not worth it. I was so excited to find one yesterday, sitting all by itself on the shelf for 75% off. (I almost fainted when I saw it). Got home and tried it, it's a piece of junk. I was fine with the small screen, but the resolution is BAD and the picture has lines running through it horizontally. I'm returning it today. All that worry and excitement for nothing!
