  1. Click on the customer service link at the bottom of the splash page, it will take you to your sign in....but make sure the prices have changed. If not clink on the item in your cart, then add it again. Price will change. Then delete the one with the old price. Had to do this for 17 items......

Thank you so much! I did this and it let me right in and I just checked out! :)

  2. I went on Friday and then again today and got children's fleece sleepers for $11.99 for a 2 pack (on sale already). I bought two packs (4 sleepers total), used the $10 coupon and came out of the store paying right around $14 for 4 sleepers! They are really nice and thick too! They are Joe Boxer brand and I bought little boy and girl's sizes (5/6/7) for that price! :)
  3. Thanks for all the great tips! This is something that I haven't seen posted yet...

Turtle Wax ICE ultimate car care gift hit - in nice black zippered case - in with the regular car care stuff - on an endcap though. No clearance sticker. On clearance for $7.49 - down from $29.99! UPC: 074660120088

It has 7 items in it - car wash, liquid polish, spray detailer, glass cleaner, total interior care, microfiber towels and ice applicator.

    Doesn't look Christmas-y either.

  4. They are wrong. This is what I did.

Place the tray in your cart and go through the checkout process.

When you get to the Review/Submit order page look where it shows your Staples Rewards #.

    Click on edit.

On the next page erase your rewards # and click continue.

Now you should be back to the Review Order page.

Look for where it says Staples Customer Number [it is highlighted in purple]

    Click on Add Number.

Enter your number on the next page and then click continue.

You will be back to the Review/Submit order page and the shipping charge should be 0.00.

The only thing I noticed was that the tax showed higher than what it should have been on the submit order page. But I was actually charged the correct tax when I received my order.

    HTH

This worked for me too! I don't have a premium membership either - just a regular one! Thank you sooo much

  5. I just called my hubby and he's the 10th in line - they had 9 Wii's and passed out tickets to the first 9 people who wanted them. They have over 60 Olevia tv's in stock with a bunch of picture frames, DVD players, SD cards, etc. We weren't going for the Wii anyway! Poor hubby - it's so cooolllld out there! I'm here with a sick 3-yr. old. Guess I'll be online shopping today!
  6. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this or not. Please feel free to move!

We just purchased the 32" Olevia LCD from Sears. We have a cheapo DVD player that we got for about $15 on BF a year or two ago. The DVD player does connect and a picture coming from the DVD player does show up on the TV. However, everything is in black and white! We tried a couple of discs.

So, we tried my more expensive DVD player that doesn't play DVD's anymore but we can hook it up and see the DVD screen on the TV. This initial screen was in color!

What is going on? Looks like the DVD player is to "blame"!

Does the DVD player need to be a progressive scan DVD player to work on a HDTV?

  7. We just price matched Circuit City's ad for the Olevia 32" 232V TV ($479.99) at Sears this afternoon! We got the TV for $467.99 plus taxes. We also got the 3 year warranty from Sears for $124.99. DH applied for a credit card, received approval and they took 10% off the price - well kind of since the associate rang up the 10% incorrectly, DH got a sale adjustment and received a little under $5 more back on his card!

So, the grand total, with the Sears card and the faulty first ring-up was $571.29 (Sears was selling this TV at $599.99 today)! We probably could have done a little better on Thanksgiving Day at Kmart or Sears online, but, there's supposed to be a storm heading our way and we didn't want to risk not getting there in time to get the TV.

Also, Sears said that the model that they sold DH today was the last one in stock - what's up with that?! Hopefully, they have some restocked for BF. Seems kind of weird to me.

Thank you all so much for all your input! We really like our new TV and stayed under our meager budget with the 3-yr. extended warranty and everything!

  8. No...just the opposite. The manager came over and had the clerk put in the $50 credit for the credit card 1st and then put in the price match. If the price match is put in the system 1st it won't let you get the credit card offer. My Sears found a way around the system. No problems!

Thank you for explaining how to do this so that both work!

  9. I have a question for the gurus out there! I've learned soo much about LCD/Digital tv's in the past couple of weeks just reading all the posts. We're looking at buying the Kmart Thanksgiving Day 32" Olevia LCD tv for $419.99. I believe that this tv doesn't have a digital tuner?

Now, my really "big" question! We don't have cable/satellite - just broadcast. Do we need to buy something extra to get HD signals with this tv? I'm guessing yes. If it is yes, then what?

    Thank you!

  10. We got in line at Menards around 5 AM last year. There was a huge unorganized line (not like a Best Buy line). People pushed their way into the store when it opened. Luckily, my DH is 6' 3", so we didn't get hurt! The lines were all the way to the back of the store. It took us longer waiting in line then getting all the merchandise (which was not easily accessible - it was kind of like a goose chase at times)! That being said, we did get some good deals! :cheesy:
