I know the 8.9" is 169 at staples, office max and office depot. I think the 7" is $99 - 119 somewhere

So irritated. I went to TRU to get the Kindle Fire. Got there shortly after it opened, went to electroniCS dept., waited in line about half hour. When I get there, they're all gone because they only had 3! THREE!!! That's just crazy. How can you advertise something and then only have 3 of them?

JustI will most likely go into the store to use my $10 money card they sent along with my 15% off to get my son a pair of shoes or some K-cups.
Thanks for reminding me about the $10 card, i have 2. And just so happens there are 2 in-store-only items i need! The printer and the 2-pack memory foam pillows.

I got a set of JLo sheets (king), blender, a xmas outfit for DD, train case makeup set, sonicare toothbrush, 2 footed PJs for DD, 3 long sleeve tops for DS, a long sleeve shirt for DD. Total was $179 and i have $20 coming back in rebates and $45 Kohls cash. So net total $114. I'm happy. I would have paid about that for just the clothes/PJs alone on a regular day (whether at Kohls or elsewhere)...i feel like i got the sheets, blender, toothbrush & makeup for free.

Just got the email for Gymboree. 50% off the whole store (including clearance) until noon on Friday. Then clearance drops to 30% off for the rest of Friday and Saturday. Excluding Jingle Deals, whatever those are.
they for sure will take coupons too, right? one of the stores I called said the 50% is only 'til 10:00 a.m. The other one i called had no idea what the sale would be and no idea what time they opened. Like - how can you NOT know???

No, i live in MA. The strip one is bigger than the mall stores so the clothes are a little more spread out. I found out that no stores in the strip will open before 7:00 a.m. so at least it wont conflict with my other early morning shopping.

I went to Dollar Tree today and they had signs up that they are open Thanksgiving day. That one surprised me, it's not like they have sales. Just keeping up the the Other retailers, I guess.
maybe they'll have a % off?? One sunday last month I went in and they said the whole store was 10% off that day. Not sure why

excellent. Now I just need to find out what time they'll be opening. Our newest one isn't in a mall, it's in a strip, so I'm not sure if that will open at 12:30-1:00 a.m. like the malls do.

I don't recall a Gymbo ad...they typically have the Jingle Deals and 30% off, but I'm hearing this year that the entire store will be 50% off, and you can stack coupons...
Oh, and they're opening at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Don't know about Crazy 8, but one would think it would be a similar sale...HTH!yeah, I knew they didn't actually have an "ad", I just was curious what their sale would be and O! M! G! if it's 50% off. That is so much better than I was expecting, and I have 20% coupons to boot. I will be in Gymbo heaven.

One of the things i love about living in a state where the stores dont open on thursday. I know i dont have to get up and go out thursday, regardless of whether the stuff i want shows up online or not. I have all day thursday to shop online (and DH cooks and i'm banned from the kitchen
), so i just light a fire and snuggle up with my Snuggie at the computer and click on the stores all day long. Whatever i dont get online (i normally get a good % of the things on my list), i will get friday morning. ~excuse typos. sent from KF and tired of fixing errors from this damn keyboard

Office Max is gonna have the 8.9" Fire HD for $169. Just FYI.
Just saw that. I hope its online b/c apparently theres no OD within 100 miles. I had no idea, i just assumed we did. And not many Office Maxs either.........i swear we used to have tons of these stores around, they must have closed a bunch.

There is no 8 inch fire. THere is an 8.9if that is what you mean. Best option is always to buy from amazon. I go on the amazon kindle forums every day and read and answer questions. If you buy from a store and have a problem, you have to go by that stores return policy. If you buy from amazon, you have until january 31 to return for refund if you aren't happy. If you have a problem they ship you a new one before you even send the old one back. I had one the next day.
yes, I meant the 8.9". I have the 7" and to get the 8.9" on Amazon will cost me $229 vs. $179 plus $20 g.c. So that's quite a difference. Of course there's a chance Amazon will lower their prices for BF as well (fingers crossed)
