Half-price books has a re-usable bag with a $5 gift card in it for the first 100 people in line and one of those bags will have a $100 gift card. I hope they continue doing this but my husband and I would snag one and then go next door to Michael's and get in line for a Godiva chocolate bar freebie. Last year the Michael's in our area did not hand out the chocolates and I didn't realize how much I would miss that freebie, haha.

When I first started shopping on Black Friday I didn't purchase for myself, but I love watching movies and the DVD's are priced so low that I can't resist picking up a few (okay, okay a bunch! haha) for myself.

All of the above advice is great! I just wanted to also chime in about grabbing what you want as quick as you can and checking out. The first time we tried online shopping at Wal-Mart, half of our selections were out of stock by the time we went to check out. We learned to pick out the most wanted items first and when we reached $35 for the free shipping, we would check out. Once we completed the transaction, we would go back for another $35 or more. It seemed to work out better for us. Either way though, everything seems to go fast!

We went at midnight last night and seen only 4 others at that time. The ECB items were set up in a display, had no problems checking out. Was one of the smoothest sales with ECB's yet. How'd everyone else do today at CVS?

Thanks to everyone for posting the information and updates on these deals! I have a question about mangas..will there be a sale on them soon? Usually Amazon has a "buy 3 get 1 free" offer but I have not seen it this year (or I missed it). Anybody know of any sales/deals on mangas this year?

That's a great find on diapers~Congrats to your friend! ~~ I forgot to mention in my other post that at the OKC South store there was one little Christmas pony toy in the toy section. Don't know if they'll give the discount on it or not. I left it there so if anyone in that area is looking for it, it is still in the toy section. None of the games were left though.

Hi, Regarding your first question....I just went through something like this, on the 3 pack of soft soap pumps, the cashier would not give a discount because they are considered a winter item and not holiday. I guess it just depends on your cashier. I know with the scrapbooking items, I had no trouble with them marking down but this was at another Targer/a different cashier. (Also the scrapbooking items were Christmas and Winter looking) As for your 2nd question, I'm sorry I don't have an answer. When I returned an item recently, the person looked up the price of the item before doing the actual return. But it was a Christmas item in one of the red boxes so that may have been the reason. ~~ Also wanted to add for the OKC shoppers who didn't already know that OKC South store has plenty of 90% off signs but just 1/2 an aisle left of Christmas clearance. Missed it by one day. I did manage to score rice krispy treats for .22 cents a box in the regular food section, left plenty for anyone wanting them. And I found the 2 packages of batteries that someone mentioned a few pages back. They are in a box of 5, marked on the shelf for $6.99. But scanned for $4.99, so 10 Duracell batteries for $4.99. They had AA and AAA and were in the Electronics dept. Last thing for the scrappers is the $1 section @ OKC South is restocked w/the Valentine's stuff. I have been looking for the tape, out of 3 stores, I found 4 rolls, here is the UPC for the single rolls, 051131855410 this might help anyone else looking. The 4 I found were in the Christmas section but there also regular rolls of scotch tape mixed in w/them so I had to scan them to figure out which one was on sale. Also, for any Oklahoma people on the board who are wondering, OKC South, OKC North and Norman all went 75% today. OKC South restocked some Christmas items today, so there is a decent selection left. OKC North had a lot of the red boxed gift sets left. Norman store seemed to have the most candy and cookies. And to the person looking for the Armor-all gift sets, I have seen them today in the regular auto section of the store, you might check that part of your store also. :) HTH someone

Thanks for posting this! I paid $20 at my local Walmart for this toy. While at Dollar General, I found HoverDisc for $3. They had Spiderman, Darth Vader & Yoda. Thought I'd post in case anyone needed a quick extra gift while there.

Just went throught the same thing at my local Walmart, but it was over the Bratz Diamondz laptop. Found one on the shelf and when I tried to purchase, the register would not ring it up. Even though it was in the regular flyer and not a Blitz item, I still could not purchase it until Friday. So they are holding it now I'm just hoping it'll still be there!

I use Sprint and have this problem also. Bad connection and then the call is dropped. Maybe it's just Sprint?
