  1. Thank you all for your wonderful posts! I went yesterday (Folsom, CA), and Christmas was marked 70%, but scanned at 90%. They eventually changed the signs while I was there, but I was able to get a lot of stuff. I got pink/teal sparkly tissue (0.20) and white/silver sparkly tissue (0.20) - package of 6 - which I can use for any gifts. Also got ribbon and bags. Our store hardly had any food, just some cookies. I may have to look for those pita chips, though!

I don't think anyone has mentioned the following items, which I also found at 90%:

Up and Up brand "Kleenex" tissues - a package of 4 square boxes, 90 count each, for $0.49. These were not marked, and were just located where the rest of the tissues are. I stocked up and stored them in a suitcase. LOL

Puffs brand tissues - 1 box, 56 count, for $0.19 (didn't buy any since the other brand was a better deal). Also located with other tissues, and not marked.

Lime green scarf - $1.49 - This was with the Xmas, and had a silver sticker. Mossimo brand.

Sparkly pink journal - $0.79 - Also with Xmas. Recreate brand. I think I saw more by the regular journal/writing section, but didn't scan them.

I really want the tape, so I may go hunting today. Happy hunting to the rest of you!

  2. I had been looking for an ice cream maker and found the Cuisinart model ICE-20 in Bed Bath and Beyond for 40% off. This brings is down from $49.99 to $29.99. I used the $5.00 off a $15 purchase and paid about $26 with tax.

They have it listed online but it is currently out of stock. It has excellent reviews.

This ice cream maker is awesome! We have tried many of the recipes that come with the instructions, and they have all been delicious. It's lots of fun for my kids, too. They love eating homemade ice cream and frozen yogurt. We paid about $50 for this a few years ago.

  3. 121 McKinney target backpacks were still 50%, but a good selection left. Rest of BTS is down to bare pickings.

Our school supplies went to 75% off yesterday. An employee told me that backpacks were marked down with the sporting goods, which takes place on Thursdays. No guarantee that they will be marked down this week. (our backpacks were still at 50% off, and not much left at that price).

  4. I messed up and thought the kid's party started at 11:30am. I showed up with my

girls in tow, only to find out I was too late. The manager said they ran out of all the

goody bags. But. while we were browsing the store, the manager came up to us and

found two goody bags. Then a few minutes later, another employee came up to us

and said her manager found 2 coupons for the free t-shirts. I asked her what kind

of t-shirts we could get, and she said any graphic tee worth up to $14.50! So we

got two really cute long-sleeved graphic t's (reg. $14.50) for free! I also picked up

two women's $1 tees. I was really happy! I couldn't believe the employees chased

me down to give me these good deals! :yup:

  5. The thing I always hate about my kids and their digital camera is that they are a bit young to take really decent pictures (5-6), and when they spend time snapping pictures of everything under the sun (dolls, the fish tank, stuffed animals, the cereal box, etc...) they come to me and want me to PRINT their pictures or order them through a print service. It's fine for a few times, but after a while, it gets pricey (and time consuming) printing pictures of things that after 5 minutes of looking at the picture, they no longer care about.

They have fun with their cameras though cuz they get to be like mommy taking pictures, but the novelty wears off fast when the ink stops flowing so freely! LOL. If you just consider that the camera is like any other toy and the newness wears off, it's really a good deal. Who cares if the quality isn't that great. Depending on how young the child is that is getting it, their picture taking skills probably aren't that great anyway!

I try to just download the pics to my computer and they get to see their pictures up on the big screen, which is fun too.

Thanks again everyone for your input on these Spongebob cameras.

I picked up two yesterday for $4.98. The sticker said $9.98, but I had

the employee scan them. And sure enough, they were $4.98. Hopefully,

my girls will forget about the pink cameras they've seen and be happy

    with these! :)

  6. Thats exactly how I feel. I am giving it to the neighbor's son for Christmas. He is only 5 but loves to act like a BIG BOY and take pictures. The quality is that great I am sure but it will be fun for him to learn on his own and if he uses it for a few weeks and then decides its not fun anymore.. it was $5.00!!! (A digital camera for $19.99 cant have too high of expectations)hahahaha!

OK, you all convinced me! My girls will probably either break it or be bored with it after

a week. If not, I can always buy them a nicer one later on. Hopefully my Target will have two of them. Thanks again for all your advice! :)

  7. They went 75% today at my Target. Hope yours went too and you get 'em!:)

Also found these at my Target:
