Did anyone buy this? It's advertised as an early bird special at $169.87. I'm wondering if it's a good deal.

I bought mine at Kohls. It's 50% so it's $29.99, plus free shipping after $75 in purchases AND if you use your Kohl's charge, type in PICK15 in the promotional code area and get another 15% off your total purchase.

Honestly, I don't even think it's worth it to buy the early bird deals online at Walmart anyway. I was going to get two toys that totalled $30 together; they were going to charge me $12 in shipping! Not a great deal!

They're probably putting this stuff out early so they don't have to do it all the night before BF and then telling everyone it's been recalled when they try to buy it. Funny how two of the early bird deals are now recalled...I smell a conspiracy.

I think it will go fast because 1. It's so cheap 2. You can't find these anywhere else (well I can't, anyway).

Does anyone know if WM will be offering .97 shipping on BF? It would be pointless to save all that money on the good deals to just end up paying a ton of $$ for shipping. I don't think they offer the free ship to store thing where I live.

UPDATE: I just went back to that original Walmart to buy two more to give as gifts. There were still a bunch there but when I went to buy them, they scanned "not for selling" or "do not sell" or something to that effect again. Unfortunately this time the cashier didn't just bypass the message and sell it to me anyway:( . She asked her supervisor or whoever who said she couldn't sell it to me. I even explained that I bought two the other day but she didn't seem to care. So I spoke to the asst. mgr and showed him the receipt for the two I purchased the other day. He told me that he couldn't sell them to me b/c that meant there was a recall on them or something (I didn't want to get into the whole "it's probably because it's a BF deal that is not supposed to be on the shelves yet" issue:no: ) so I just let it go. I actually saw these at Target two days ago as CLEARANCE. You could either get the puppy AND the laugh and learn puzzle OR the bunny and the laugh and learn drum thingy. They were $13.98!!! I almost bought a bunch just to donate. This was in Connecticut.

Since my daughter is only two, I don't have to worry about all the expensive stuff (yet), but I am very interested in getting this for her for Christmas since she loves Little People (this is listed on this site at sunrise sounds, not surprise sounds, btw...) I could not seem to find it anywhere online except ebay. Today I actually found it in Walmart today for the BF price--$10!!! There were a ton of them so I can only assume I'm the only person who wants one. I'm sure all of you parents of toddlers know how expensive the Little People playsets are. When the employee rang it up it wasn't registering--it said something like "do not sell" or something like that. I'm wondering if they put it on the shelves before they were supposed to. I was just so excited about this I had to share. Thanks for listening!
