I used to work for VS in the mall and it was the policy to stock the sale bins in the morning and make the customers buy up what was there first before restocking again. Also during the rest of the year when we have only so much of the clearance out we really had tons of boxes in the back but VS wanted the regular price merchandise pushed. And for those free items that you get with the postcards, like free underwear or perfume samples, don't be surprised if you show one day and they say they are out of stock, come back early the next day as we were told to only give out a certain amount each day to encourage customers to come back again and to have some available the entire giveaway time.

I ordered an XBOX from them and then got an email I would get it in January, I called and cancelled within the same day I ordered and the guy gives me a confirmation number and then I come home about a week later to see a box left on my door step and I call and say I cancelled and they tell me it had already shipped. I don't want it now and they want to charge me for a 15% restocking fee after I pay myself for the return shipping. I have never been happy with them but figured I would try one more time. All I can say is I am very sorry I went to the site. I HATE them !!!

I bought it at Dell and want to return it but between the return shipping charge and the 15% restocking fee they want to charge me, I don't want to return it thru them.

Anyone know where I can return an xbox 360 without a receipt?

Yes that is all I need is the classic controller. I have been told they are as hard to find as the consoles themselves and they are right.

Guess what happened to me? Yesterday I go to Circuitcity.com and surprise I see a wii classic controller in stock in my store so I order it and pay for it, get a confirmation email to come get it and if it isn't ready in 24 minutes I get a 24 gift card. Well I was sick and couldn't go right away and during the day I notice they went out of stock. So hubby goes to get it and they say they never got them in stock that the truck never came. So they give us a gift card. I am thinking they sold my controller before I got there. I give up.

My son is in a wheelchair but can use his upper body. Only he does have low tone with his arms and hands so he won't be standing up and swinging like I saw a child in a commercial for wii yesterday. But he can use the controller for his playstation so I figure the wii classic controller will work pretty similiar. I am actually thinking this could be a great tool for his physical therapist to use with him with the games like tennis or baseball where you have to swing to play the games.

I don't know about that. My kid is handicapped and computers and vidoe games is all he really has. Not like he can go out and ride a bike. I had to get one and did. Now my next problem is getting one of those classic controllers because he won't be able to handle the regular remote. It is always something.

Well that is odd cause I was at Walmart yesterday asking about the classic controller and they said all their Wii stuff is in the back for the 6th and I said I didn't want the Wii, I have one, I just want a controller and they said they still had to save it for the 6th. This whole saving Wii's and controllers for a certain date is BS. Needless to say I will not be Christmas shopping at Walmart now.

LOL You can say that again. It never fails though, every Christmas there is some toy that they have to have and is hard to get but I always get it.

Well I ordered a bundle from Walmart.com and I got my Wii today and they shipped the Wii right away and the games come separate. I would think the same would happen at Gamestop. Worse that can happen is you could order this one and if you find another one sooner or without the bundle before the 18th you can cancel the order. They don't charge your card till they ship and you cancel up until it ships. If the Wii was for me, I would be waiting until after Christmas but I had a kid who would have been very disapointed if there was no Wii under the tree so I would have bought this one if I didn't get one already.

Ok why is everyone so desperate for one of those classic controllers? What are they for? I thought the Wii came with one and does anyone know where to get one? Why do I feel like I am in another panic to get one of these before Christmas?

Well what happened is I got an email saying the Chicken Little game was on backorder and I could cancel if I wanted to or do nothing and it would ship when it came in and the estimated ship date is after Christmas. So I said I wanted to cancel the rest of my shipment and she did it.

Wow you know I went and checked the flyer again and it said sale starts on the 3rd but when you look inside at the Wii ad it says it is available on the 6th. However we called the store ourselves because my sil wants one now that I got one and the manager said they were giving tickets out at midnight on Saturday night and he already had the Wii's are in stock in the back. Wonder if he made a mistake but hey I have his name and he said he is working then so I am going in and asking for him. Hope he remembers me and what he said. Sorry for the mix up I just want to help out everyone who is here looking for one since you guys helped me get one.

OK I ordered the Wii from Walmart.com on weds and the tracking has it delievring to my house tomorrow. Have three games also coming and I was able to cancel the other five games, well I think I did, the lady said it was "in process" to cancel but said it should go thru before anymore ship. So you can cancel the rest of the order "after" the Wii ships and not get stuck with the whole bundle. Also found out that Walmart does have the Wii in Sunday's ad and says has 6 min per store but our local store says they have 52 in stock for Sunday. They will give out tickets at midnight.

First off try and pick a store in an area that doesn't get hit too hard. My husband stood in line at 9 am for Best Buy and they opened at 10 am but they seem to always give out tickest about an hour before the stores open to get you away from the door before it opens. However even at an hour we were 40 in line and they had 28 tickets and we called ahead and the store manager said they don't get hit very hard. As it was if we had gotten there just about 15 minutes earlier we would have had a Wii that day. It isn't as bad as the lines for a PS3 where they camp out for like three days but get there early enough so you don't have to keep waiting in lines. What we also did was call around to the stores that had them advertised for the next day and asked the manager when they planned on giving out tickets as with one Walmart they gave them out at midnight and well the store was open 24 hours.

That is a fun way to personalize your hardware. I got a skin for my son's DS Lite and it was from a copy of a picture of him. So he has this picture of him all over his DS LIte. I will see if I can get one like that for his Wii.

I don't want three games and it looks like they will be the last three shipped. I got my confirmation tracking number for the console and two games today. Is there a way to cancel the rest of the shipment now or do I have to wait till all of it to arrive and take back the games?

I have yet to see the tracker say one is up and the same was for the PS3. I just scan the stores myself and that is how I got my Walmart.com order and my Wii shipped today. I also found a PS3 at Gamestop.com myself when the tracker said out of stock. I missed out on the ToysRUs.com one last month and the tracker said out of stock then. I missed out BECAUSE I kept checking the tracker and when I missed the TRUS one I decided not to trust it. Even for the hour the PS3 was up, the tracker still said out of stock.

Well after all the price gouging we have here when we have hurricanes I am not about to pay three times what a Wii is worth just like I wasn't going to buy a bag of ice for $20 or a gallon of gas for $10. There is a limit to what people should have to pay and taking advantage of people should be illegal. At least most places are putting a limit of one per customer but what a shame that they have to be told not to grab a handful, just take one like some little kid.

It is since you aren't saving any money buying it at the bundle price. It all adds up the same if you bought the games all separate. And Best Buy has one of my games on sale so I got ripped a few bucks anyway but will be happy when it actually gets in my hands. Now what I want to know is how can they give me a ship date on these games when they aren't released yet and the ship date is before they release them?
