  1. click picture frame with tree and paste address of picture in there. you can usually get pic address by right clicking picture and selecting copy image location
  2. that's helpful. If I see bullseye I'll rewind to watch this sounds interesting.
  3. how about itunes gift card? I know cd's are dinosaurs nowdays. or maybe a ticket to an upcoming concert/festival he might be interested in.
  4. I'm looking to get a new desktop this year but I'm wondering if it's worth holding out til BF. Technology prices tend to go down somewhat from year to year, looking at last years ads it looked like desktops were discounted about $150 from regular price. I'm looking for at least a quad core and don't need a monitor or printer. Should I wait or snag a deal now? Having stopped by a few store this weekend there's not many desktops in stores as it is and I suspect they'll try to clear out the dual core/i3's on BF.
  5. looking at most recent previous thread from 2010 it was a friday-sunday deal followed by a Cyber Monday deal.
  6. it only shares the response you entered and you can change setting to "only me" if you want to do that.
  7. I too had crackling but put it down to needing to reinstall firefox as it's been having issues since the upgrade. did anyone watch on Chrome, did it work ok?
  8. how do you keep the packaging from going to crap I'm sure I'd probably lose the tags and have to cleverly try to unwrap and figure out what was what.
  9. having looked at the "upgrades" it doesn't look to be worth the extra $ ESPECIALLY if he's not super tech saavy. Now if he was up on his pc stuff 100% and an extremist, he could even be offended it's not the most up to date thing but it doesn't sound like that's him. Maybe check one of those Amazon price checkers on it and see if the price is usually steady around $25 and hold off until more BF ads come out or just go for it IF it's still a good price and you don't want to risk it.
  10. If you're going to try this, test it beforehand. I'd have to have it ruin anyone's BF. Those drinks have varying degrees on functionality for people. It does nothing for me but works for some coworkers and makes another feel super jittery/sick.
  11. I think target may have had a toy register on clearance section when I went yesterday not sure on price since I don't have any use for it. Office Depot has the slim board markers for .64 a pack of 4 or 5 but didn't see any displays for regular markers
  12. I scored a cars pool toy for 7.xx and some men's C9 adjustable pool sandals for 4.47.
  13. A few years ago babies r us had a similar deal but it may have been on the wipes not sure and from what I heard you had to be there super early to get any.
  14. I agree with getting something they ask for. In my experience men rarely ask for anything they need or useful. My brother usually gets a game or a bluray movie/tv set. SIL usually gets kitchen stuff she's mentioned wanting or perfume or other stuff she's mentioned.
  15. I agree with Freesia but I'll give them a chance to set out their expectations first. My bff always gets great deals from folks at BB but I susupect its her ultra chatty husband and his fun personality
  16. lol...game changer. That was a popular word last BF season I'll believe it when they make rules/req known. From HERE : Best Buy is still working out the details of its Internet price-matching program, which might exclude some products.
  17. I have no input....Just wanted to say everytime I see the title I think someone needs 12BF tv's and wonder what for
  18. 100% Agree.
  19. thanks, I'll review over weekend. Can't find a dr.seuss card ANYWHERE for godsons party may just do photo one.
  20. eeehh....I'm iffy about signing it, there are some valid points but then others are kinda pretty common in the workplace now a days. It would be nice to have a more dependendable schedule and I would think if enough people want it, it should be easy enough to accomodate but I don't know the logistics. Full time hours and benefits is another stickler but not many places are hiring full time and MOST use that as a way NOT to offer you benefits. This is not specific to Walmart and while I don't agree with it, it's what you agreed to when you took the job. Retaliation for joining unions, lack of privacy/respect for Open Door policy/reports are unacceptable and should be corrected ASAP. It's kind of sad given such great quotes from Walton that the company seems to care so little for its employees but this seems to have been a long time in the process but again I find its pretty common. It's all a matter of how much faith you put into people or how realistic (some might say skeptical you are). I'm currently in my 8th month of what should have been a 3 month temporary assignment. They have been talking since day 1 about all the opportunities for permanent placement, yet they have 2 employees who have been temporary for over 2 years and are basically in the same boat and care very little to give them any job security. It's a nice way to give people hope and get them to perform well without providing anything concrete.
  21. Photo 1: Guy in Blue shirt, "These suckers don't know the good deals are stacked way over there" Photo 2: Lady in Black Hoodie at the door, "If I try to look crazy maybe people will give me some space" Photo 3: Person pushing cart, "I may have gotten junk, but at least I got something"
  22. someone elsewhere posted that their Walmart has the hours posted at registers (opening at 1am in MA). I prefer the morning hours since I usually spend a few days straight before BF getting online deals/planning and the such so a few hours sleep helps. If everywhere opened at close enough times during night hours I may get to sleep earlier but honestly I got very little in stores last year and hope to do the same this year.
