  1. sometimes you can go to Target.com and put the name of the item in and under additional information it will show the DCPI number (if they are still selling it) You might try that.

Sorry, Niccci, I think I phrased my question incorrectly. If you have a DCPI number is there a website that allows you to plug in the number to see which store may carry the item? Looking at some posts, it appears there may be one, although I can't imagine how unless it is a hack into Target's mechandise database. (It would be a great help, though!) :)

  2. My daughter just turned two and we have play dates over here a lot.

If you want to get a group gift they can all play with a Little Tykes or Step Two Play House or Kitchen (some Targets had the Bistro kitchen for $27 on clearance last week) would be great "wow" gifts. The buggie cars are popular, too, but are usually about $40 each.

Any ride on toys are cool and will receive a lot of use.

A popular toy for the boys to share are the "Shake and Go" Cars (from the movie) and there is a two car race track that goes with it. Train tables are also big "wow" gifts (they had some marked down from $80 to $20 at my Target last week, but are gone now.)

My daughter's favorite past time for the past year has been reading. So, the Little Touch Leap Pad is a good gift, too. A Little People Doll House or Fisher Price My First Doll House (Some Kmarts have these marked down for about $7! At mine, there was not a clearance sticker, I had to scan it) are great toys, too. The Noah's Ark is neat, too.

Popular characters are Elmo (both sexes) and Thomas the Tank Engine (boys).

    Hope this helps!

  3. In Orlando, Fl it is still 30% off toys.

Which store did you try? I went to the Conroy store at 9AM and 8PM and it was still 30-50%off in toys but I went to the Ocoee store around 4pm and made out pretty well, although I could tell it was picked over a little bit. Another poster said that Clermont went 75% off today, too.

For those who are looking for items, here's what I found at 75% off

    Ocean Wonders Aquariam for crib

    Baby Leap Pad (6-36 mos.)

Pooh, Dora and Counting fish cartridges for the Baby Leap Pad

    Dinosaur Mega Doodle

    Water Doodle lap pad

    Tub Crayons

I also saw, but didn't buy...

My Little Pony Unicorn with hair accessories

    Home ballet studio with dvd

    Lots of Pirates figures, etc.

Spiderman that sings Itsy Bitsy Spider

    Polly Pocket stuff

    Dora Castle Figurines

    Wooden Cherries for Fruit Stand

    Bath Hippos

    Cabbage Patch Kids clothes

  4. Still 50% off toys in Orlando (Checked Conroy-Windermere store). The few Little Tykes toys left were only 25% off (I heard they were 50% last Friday at another location. Can anyone confirm this?)

40lb+ booster seats were 50% off, pink Graco travel light pack & play was 50% off as well as the matching high chair.

Bulk, Pampers Bulk and Pampers swim diapers were only 15-30% off.

    No beach towels on sale.

If anyone sees the Dora "big wheel-like" plastic ride on go on sale for 50% or 75% can you please let me now? They were only 25% off at my store. TIA!

  5. No such luck for me, but still great deals none the less!

    Inf conditioner (2 for $12)

    Herbal Ess shampoo ($3.33)

    Herbal Ess gel ($3.33)

    Secret Deodorant ($3.33)

Minus coupons (all from a Sunday paper a few weeks ago w/ 7/31 expirations)

    -$6 (BOGO) Inf haircare

    -$1 Herbal Ess

    -$1 Herbal Ess

    -$.50 Secret

    Sub Total $18.50

Once I mail in my $5 Tuffs rebate, the total will be $13.50

Making my OOP spending $3.50 plus tax - yippee! :cheesy:

  6. Altamonte Mall was really picked over, and Park Ave wasn't much better. Haven't checked FL Mall but they usually don't have much selection during sales. Will be going to Sanford mall tomorrow, will let you know if they have anything good.

Thanks for letting me know. FL Mall had nothing - and it was choas with all of the tourists.

  7. I went this morning and picked up a lot of birthday supplies, stickers, etc. The one thing I really liked was the Finding Nemo SPF 30 waterproof/sweatproof sunscreen spray (expires 4/08).I bought a similar one in Walmart for about $6 two mos. ago.
  8. I had a Sesame street party last fall. I got a lot of things off eBay. I actually have several new sesame street watches. They are like Big Bird and others. Would you like me to "dig them out" and see how many I have?? I would give you a good deal!

If you don't mind looking for them (and seeing if they still work) that would be great! The kids are all 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 so be a little too young for the watches, but let's see how many you have and what the cost would be. If you are unable to PM me let mw know and I'll send you my email address. Thanks!

  9. Hello! I am looking for inexpensive Sesame Street goodies to use as prizes and for loot bags at my 2 years old's birthday party. I also need some decorations, too. I have been checking out the Dollar Store weekly, but have only found coloring books and plates (they had Elmo napkins and cups but I wasn't crazy about the cartoonish looking print.) The party is in a little over a month's time. Thanks in advance! :)
  10. If the party is themed, you can write themed items on pieces of paper, put them into a hat and have the drawer choose whether to act it out (Charades) or draw it (Pictionary) while individuals or teams guess The person who guesses correctly pulls the next piece of paper.

Anothe game I have played and created is a BINGO-Like grid that lists people's qualities, etc. on the boxes rather than numbers (eg. 'Born in a diferent state', 'married', 'met someone famous', 'has blue eyes', 'prefers beer to wine', 'can speak 2 or more languages fluently'.) Each card needs to be different (but you can move around the squares). Guests need to find someone that fits the categories and have them sign or initial the corresponding box. The first (or first 3) BINGOs win a prize.
