I went there just to get the GE cordless phone (free after rebate). They were out of stock, but I was able to the last GE cordless phone that was $4.99 after rebate.

Started the call on my at my 6:09 AM post... was taken off hold about 10 mins before my 6:52 AM post... so ~30 mins
Thanks, I don't want to use my cell phone minutes so I don't think I'll be calling. By the way, these same problems happened last year on black friday also.

HAHA... I got through on the phone... AND the Laminator which was sold out online was NOT sold out on the phone... YAY
Get this... I spent so much today that my Visa card started rejecting the charges!
Anyway the people at American Express were happy to loan me the money and I am much obliged

I can't find any of the deals online right now. Their web site is definitely having problems, it took me an hour to be able to view the "Weekly Ad".

The DVD box sets (Sex In the City, etc.) are available online with a $1.69 shipping charge. Some of the free-after-rebate software items are available too.

For me on Black Friday, it's online shopping only. I've gotten many, many great deals over the years buying online on BF, although in the past few years the amount of deals has been steadily going down each year.
