Plano, TX - can and probably will do Plano, Frisco, Allen areas... hubby not showing any interest this year and everyone else is out of town so I'm either going it alone or willl hijack hubby's truck if any are interested Not really hunting anything in particular - most of my shopping is done (yay) but I adore BF and will likely mosey through Walmart(s), Target(s), Best Buy, JoAnn, Hobby Lobby, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohl's and whatever else strikes my fancy. I will likely have to observe my personal BF ritual of a stop at IHOP for gallons of coffee and stuffed french toast. We all have our quirks, right?

Been checking around all day, none of the neighbors got it either. Grr. Boycotting Wal-crap.

Line jumpers will always get paid back eventually - I hang my head in shame as I recall BF 1996 when me, my mom, and my aunt went to Walmart and got in line just as the doors were opening... my mom must have gotten a sudden adrenaline rush because she shoved people's carts out of the way and nearly knocked down an employee as she blew past the line and the screaming people still outside waiting. My aunt and I just stood there, blinking at each other. When we caught up with this crazed woman I call mom, she had severely sprained 2 fingers during her initial "push" into the carts. Paybacks are hell. My aunt and I spent the rest of our time in Walmart avoiding her so we wouldn't have to suffer guilt by association or something...

Like others who have posted, Kohl's is the only store credit card I have - and just this week I was notified that I've become a "Most Valued Customer" because I've done nearly all of my Xmas shopping online/in store this year. Digging through the Clearance racks is absolutely a form of therapy, especially when you've got an extra 30% from the mailers. I got my first 30% ad just a few weeks ago, and I squealed. Usually I get 15% so that was a nice surprise. It doesn't hurt that I live in walking distance of one of the stores too. Love my Kohl's card. It is so worth it.
