  1. The stands are nice, but he will he need to carry the challenge coin (or at least one if he has several) - it is just that... a "challenge" coin. If he is ever at the club with a group and some does a challenge - knocks coin on the table/bar... everyone must show their coin... if they do not have a coin that person is required to buy a round for the whole room... if the everyone in the room has their coin, then the challenger must buy the round - even if that round is a round of sodas (depending on age). Most men keep their coin in their wallet because they always have their wallets on them, the keychain is a nice alternative as long as he always has his keys on him.

Coins used to be the same size, but they can come in different sizes and materials, so make sure you get the measurements for the coin. Hope this helps.

  2. Not gonna do it, no way, no how!! I will have my Thanksgiving!! I will get up at 0300, pick up my friend and start at the stores around 0400 - just like it should be! I did the early thing last year and it sucked! We ended up so tired it was no longer fun to look around. I want my BF to be fun not a chore, so I will do it my way this year and if I miss out on something so be it.
  3. I don't care what time they decide to open this year, I am NOT going out before 3 am. I did the all nighter last time and it wasn't as much fun because we were completely exhausted by the time the sun came up. I didn't have the energy or interest to look for the deals by the time 6am rolled around. Also, it seemed like a lot of time was wasted waiting for stores to open. I told myself that this year I would wait and go out at my normal time - getting up around 3am picking my friend up and get to the first store around 4am.
  4. The 12 year old went last year for the first time and will go again this year. I don't go any where crazy and don't fight for TVs or other items. She is skinny and can get into those crowded isles for items I am looking for and she loved it last year. I don't regret my decision to take her so she'll probably be my shopping buddy for the next couple of years until she is old enough to go with her friends and dumps her mom - LOL!
  5. I still have some items from last year that I did not put under the tree because I had bought so much! I didn't use my normal spreadsheet tracking method so I had forgotten some of the items I had purchased - ooops! I ended up with a stupid amount of items and decided to just store some of them away for birthdays and this year! LOL! I still have a lot of shopping to do, but I'm guessing between my closet stash and birthday bin I could put on a decent Christmas for the two little ones at least! The 12 yr old is another story... Kindle Fire and clothes this year, but she BF shops with me now (she'll be 13 this year) and I'll probably buy most of her stuff that day.
  6. Ugh... what to do, what to do??? My mom works for Target and gets an additional 10% off - we already bought the 32G for the 12 yr for her b-day in November... the 7 yr old really wants one and this would end up cheaper than the Nintendo 3D!! Decisions, decisions... ugh!
  7. What I got... a lot of stuff (mostly clothes, some toys, my dustbuster (TGT), Panini maker and Quesadilla maker (Macy's))

What I paid... sleep - and I miss it terribly!

Will NOT do the all night thing ever again! I still can't see straight I'm so tired and my body is wacked - doesn't know if it should be awake or asleep!

Saturday I picked up the camera my mom wanted at Office Depot and a label maker for our house (our's broke) and I got a laptop at the BX for a friend and a few toys that were also on sale at the BX (elephant ball popper thingy was $15) - I do enjoy the no tax benefit at the BX, I will be getting hubby's iPad2 there as well

My husband had already purchased TV for the girls, today I get to go back to the BX and get my $60 back since they are on sale today. (So 2 Samsung TVs for $199 ea)

Luckily I planned ahead and I have Monday off from work to recouperate!

  8. I brought my 12yr old DD for her first BF and my friend brought her 12 yr old son, we were out all night, both kids did great and hung in there the whole way. I will never do the all night thing again however, the deals just weren't worth it. If I could do it over again I would wait until 4am and start my shopping then. My DD and I were out for 14 hours, with no sleep, it wasn't much fun after 5am and we all got sleepy around 2am waiting for JCPenny to open. The mall was rather crazy and I was surprised by the number of kids (12-15 yr olds) by themselves at 1am. There was also a couple sitting outside of SEARs at midnight with a baby! WTH?!?
  9. Practically the entire Tucson Mall is opening at midnight! BLEGH! To include American Eagle and Aeropostle... which I will never go to on black friday because there is a line outside the doors with security guards monitoring it - it is THAT crazy! dELiA's is having a black friday special with their jeans/jeggings buy one get one free - I have to go there since they have the only jeans that fit my daughter decently. They are also having a 3 day sale on their graphic tees - buy 2 for $15, hoodies, sweaters and boots each $15.
