  1. rpertusio, does it work with satellite providers as well?

    Hi Brad & Scott!

I am AutumnWave's Technology Manager (OnAir Solution, North America). I registered to the forum to answer your questions (and any others that people my have.)

The OnAir GT does unencrypted digital cable, yes! That's in addition to Over-The-Air Digital TV, Over-the-Air Analog TV, and Analog Cable TV.

Essentially, the GT is a device that you plug into a USB 2.0 port on your computer, and you can watch Digital/Analog TV. No subscriptions, no fees (other than if you already subscribe to cable.)

I'd be happy to answer any other questions! (I do a lot of support on forums)

  2. I've done some research on this projector and talked to a friend of mine that works for an online projecter dealer. He says this is a decent "movie" (but not HD) projector and a pretty good price. It's targeted for movies, but will do OK for powerpoint presentations. If you're really looking for something for school, the Best Buy projector is a better fit. If you're looking for home movies, then look at the Optoma. He also said the company bought a boatload of the greywolf screens and thought they'd be huge sellers, but they sold a minimal amount - so they're giving them away. Not bad screens, but you could build a better one.

I'm looking for a portable projector for showing powerpoint and short videos in my speech class. Do you have the model number for Circuit City advertised Optoma? Any other leads much appreciated. Many thanks.
