Just when I was starting to get nervous, I received an email today that my Nintendo Wii Action Bundle from Amazon was being shipped. I ordered it Nov 30th and the estimated shipping date for my order had been up to Dec 12th. So, Amazon was pretty close to the estimate.

A friend who works at Walmart in the electronics dept told me that 30 Wii's were shipped to Walmart on Tuesday (11/28). The manager is holding them and they will not be sold til Dec. 6th. Walmart is now going to make everyone wait in line at midnight in the cold for something they already have. What a great marketing scheme to get people into the stores.

Wow - I just happened to check the tracker and Amazon had the Nintendo Wii Action Starter Bundle available. I was able to order one. When I went back to check if any more were available - they sold out! I will be cancelling my order with journeyed.com.

JourneyEd.com is where I was able to order a Wii. I just checked the web site and you can order them. It says "no definitive shipping date" but I ordered mine on Nov. 28th and the order status said it's in the warehouse! The web site is a bit slow...
