Do they charge you $19 for shipping a small card? That's how much they want for shipping a $30 1000-ft box of cable. Over half the cost of the item!

I guess it may depend on where you live. It shows at $7 shipped UPS Ground, for me. I added a 25' network cable, and it stayed at $7.

So...tempted...to build...new machine.

Finding it increasingly harder to build myself a new computer when all the parts are right there and only add up to <$200

$200 is a great price, would you mind posting prices and links here?

Thanks :g_thumbri

Well, I wasn't taking into account shipping and the fact that I have a bunch of spare parts lying around already but...

There's a mobo/cpu combo for $83.50

CD-RW drive for $10

256mb Ram for $24

Case w/power supply for $16

Vid cards as low as $11

and why not throw in a 120 gb hard drive for $54

Add all that up and it comes to $198.50 I think before shipping. Throw in 1 of the staples price mistake xp home's from earlier and that's $199.50 :)

I think that's all the necessary components for a working machine, let me know if I left anything out.

Update: Just calculated shipping for these 6 items, came out to $23
