littlesdcen Posted October 20, 2008 Share Posted October 20, 2008 We have had one for several years now. I love it. It is like a portable electric heater when comparing the heat factor. I have a 34x16 living room and it will heat it with no problem. I run it to keep the gas pack from coming on so often and I love the way it looks. jenroypa Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 My mom just got one after looking at Sams Club, BJS, Home depot, etc. The gas co. rep had told her to try one instead of paying all the money for a gas fp in her home.. Its smaller than we expected, but it does the trick and she can move it from room to room. We'll see when the electric bill comes. katiesmommy01 Posted November 8, 2008 Share Posted November 8, 2008 i'd be weary...we bought one to try to save money on the oil heat last winter...just used it for one room...the electric bill was DOUBLE our normal bill!
