alimfp Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 I went out this morning. Can't believe it but yes, I did. TRU wasn't bad at all. I found a close parking space, there was maybe 20-ish customers in the store around 9am?! Got batteries, bows and a couple of stocking stuffers and there was no line! Target had many more customers. I was still in and out of there in under 20 minutes with a pair of pajamas I was looking for. Barnes and Noble (in the mall!)? YEESH!!!! Terrible parking. It took me a good two minutes to walk from my truck to the store, and I am pregnant but I walk FAST! Didn't find a darn thing, but I did somehow end up with a Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks?! McDonald's :blush::blush: had a line of about five people but I was in and out of there quickly. And the gas station (hey, I'm covering ALL places I hit today, lol) - not bad either, surprisingly! I like hunkering down and not worrying about the idiots out on the roads... so, NO - I didn't go shopping on the 24th - but the 22nd was pretty crazy out there!
