Dh was at the mall today. I went into Hot Topic, Dh did not follow  . I got my boys some band tee shirts and now he says he got my christmas gift. Now we had already said that my lap top I got on black friday was my gift .. I know he spent almost 700 {checked banking online) on this gift. / I am kinda mad he spent so much on me but then I know he does it because he loves me.. I bought him another salt reef tank for xmas and he is so excited. I couldnt wrap it so he knows what it is. So do you think its fair for him to know and I cant :( I am pretty sure its some sort of jewlery but we shall see.. Unless its something he ordered and has to be delivered

My Dh does the same thing. Every year when we discuss Christmas, we both say five gifts each. One big gift and four small gifts. Every year he always ends up buying me my five gifts +. And I must admit, well... I do the same thing. I just wish he didn't wait to wrap them until Christmas Eve.

do your bank records say where it came from?

You guys are awful ;). You are supposed to be surprised so quit snooping. We'll put you guys over in the other thread about teenagers sneeking a peek at their presents early :lmao:

I hope you get jewelry, every woman loves to get something sparkly on Christmas morning :)

for me unless the spakle is that of a power tool my hubby knows better then to get me jewlery..... I don't wear it and I think it is a waste of money. Now if he wants to get me a potter's wheel( kick one not electric) I would love that.

LOL

Well I don't want any sparkling power tools either, but I also don't wear jewelry much. Once in a while to church or to a holiday dinner out. But I can't wear it at work for fear of breaking/losing it and I also would rather have a 20.00 necklace than a 200.00 one. So my DH knows that although I think jewelry is pretty I won't wear expensive things (except my wedding set) and that I can't wear it at all unless I get a new job (fingers crossed on that one)... so if he got me jewelry I would be upset.

Of course, I also tend to think that unless the receiver has requested it that jewelry is just an easy out for so many men..... so therefore I don't think it means as much. (with the exception of mothers' rings and things like that, they take thought and creativity)
