CVS Halloween

I went to my local CVS and they had the candy 50% off. On my way up to checkout they said they JUST changed it to 75%. I bought a TON of candy, cookies, pretzle bags, 4 packs of jones soda (those rang up .39). I had a 4 off 20 and 2, 2 off 10 coupons plus $2 ECB so I got 62 bags of stuff for 29.83!!

Since I found a lot of stuff my hubby likes and I send him weekly packages to Iraq, I headed to another CVS hoping to cherry pick the stuff he likes. Sure enought they had even more stuff and had just marked to 75%. I had another 4 off 20 and a 2 off 10 plus another coupon. I got 43 items for $20.46.

I am gonna have some happy campers over in Iraq with all of the stuff I am sending! :)

CVS #1

Spent -- 29.83

Saved -- 139.25

CVS #2

Spent -- 20.46

Saved -- 96.45

"4 packs of jones soda (those rang up .39). "

Thanks MandaJo!!

My kids are allergic to corn syrup because of the bleach products used in the making of it. So they can only drink the Jones soda with pure cane sugar! I WILL GO RIGHT NOW to see if I can get some! Thanks!

They were "hiding" at both ones I went to...one had them buried under the bags of candy in buggies the other had them on the bottom shelf all the way back against the back of the shelf.

Thanks for the info on the Jones Soda:D ... I wouldn't have found them since they weren't with the Halloween and they weren't marked down. Got six grape and four strawberry all for $.39 each. They were in the grocery isle, along with Halloween snack packs of oreos and teddy grahams. All the other Halloween stuff was 75% off but very picked over.:(

I wish I would have found some of the snack cookies. But the Jones soda is a BIG plus. It is so much better than regular soda. And not having High Fructose corn syrup is a big plus. My kids get huge blisters all over their faces if they get too much in their system. The bleach chemicals they use to make the syrup really irratates (sp) them and makes them REALLY aggressive :chairshot believe it or not.

I always think of that commercial of Juicy Juice where the kid comes out and says I am high fructose corn syrup, and I've been chemically altered... and he's dripping with goo. :D

My son is seven and he'll tell you quick...if it's not Jones or diet, it will hurt his stomach and give him a head ache. So thanks for the heads up!:2dollar: :2dollar: :2dollar:

I went in this morning (looking for spongebob full of Krabby Patties) and I was hoping we went from 50% to 75% off today. SURPRISE... jumped to 90% off here in Southeastern Indiana. So I got all 5 of the 9.99 spongebob's for .99 each. that is only a little over 1 cent per pattie since there are 88 in the box. My DGD3 is going to be so happy as I plan on wrapping it for Christmas. The only thing Halloween about these is a sticker that can be peeled off the front if there is anyone else out there with a spongebob lover.

I'd say get there as early as you can.... they are trying to use the space to set Christmas and CVS and Walgreens try to follow the same corporate schedules due to competition with each other. A friend at CVS and a relative at Walgreens both said that corporate demands Christmas to be set and ready to go by tomorrow early afternoon. So once word gets out that it's at 90 it won't take long ... if it's 90 where you are. :-)
