Does anyone know of a great mall with hotels in or very near that we could travel to this year? It would have to be somewhere in the northeast region with pennsylvania being the furthest south we could go. I'm tired of all the shopping centers around here...

Thanks! :cheesy:

King of Prussia mall, near Philly...I've only been there once, but it is absolutely HUGE! It even has the high-end stores like Tiffany and other places I can't afford...very nice, can't wait to go back when I have more time!

I used to work at King of Prussia www.kingofprussiamall.com . If this is your intention you need to get there extremely early. Try to get a parking spot in the parking garage. This mall is separated into 3 sections (all are connected) and there are 3 food courts. 2 are your standard food - grab a tray, load it up and sit down, the other food court is actually sit down restaurants.

If you're travelling, these are the only malls in PA worth going to really, at least if you're coming from VT. Another option is the Jersey Garden's Outlet Mall - this is in Elizabeth (north jersey) www.jerseygardens.com . Did you know that NJ is home to the most malls per square mile? A great choice, and this is in far north NJ is the Garden State Plaza Mall, it has every store imaginable. I grew up in nj, lived there for 20+ years, have been to the mall more times than I can count and I still don't know all the stores in there nor have I seen the whole mall yet. Garden State Plaza Mall is located in Paramus NJ. and is further north than King of Prussia Mall. Both are great for BF shopping, just make sure you've a game plan and a mall map before you get started!

If you're travelling further south and have questions about Neshaminy (pa), Franklin Mills(pa), Cherry Hill(nj), Cumberland(nj), Deptford(nj), Echelon(nj), Hamilton(nj), Moorestown Malls(nj), Promenande(nj), Christiana (DE), Patrick Henry(va), Lynhaven Mall(va), and Pembroke Mall(va) I can help there too. :D I've worked in all of them, and can tell you which is worth the drive, and which ones to avoid.

No matter where you go, your gonna hit tons of crowds/traffic.

If you travel, are you going to be able to get everything in the car, to come home?

:D LOL

Where ever you do go, make sure it has one of every major store.

BB, CC, WM, Target, Kohls, Office depot/max, and of course a mall.

:)

Dang! I wish you were in Louisville, KY. We have an upscale area of town called The Summit. It has all the good clothing shops, plus an Office Depot, and Borders. Then, within two miles from The Summit, you can find any other stores you may need. The Summit is basically a VERY VERY large outdoor mall. It's setup in a "U" shape with a huge fountain in the middle along with good places to eat. If you are ever in Louisville, give the Summit a try!

There is also Park City Mall in Lancaster PA. It is close to the Rockvelle Outlets.

There are alot of stores and it is in close proximity to Toys R us, childrens place, etc. (They are in strip malls surrounding the actual mall.)

Hey! I know that place!;)

The only problem with Park City is that if you are unfamiliar with the area, you would probably try to get out the main entrance to get back onto Rt. 30 to head to someplace like the Rockvale Outlets, and that will take you FOREVER AND A DAY!! It's bad enough with regular holiday shopping traffic, so I can only imagine how bad it would be on BF!! Can't stand that intersection!!
