Not sure if it is a coincidence but a couple of weeks ago were slow for me. I was bored so decided to go back in to some of the panels and update my profiles. Alot of them had no changes but I did click the updates. Since then I seem to be getting more surveys. I did notice that at some of the sites there were some new questions.

I've been slow for a while, but I am still new to this so I am sure I miss a lot of stuff. I did have a question though. How do you check for available surveys on SurveySpot? I can't find where to look for that. Thanks in advance!!

RacerGirl, go to www.surveyspot.com, and log in. You'll then see a page where you can choose to go to available surveys, check your accout balance, or whatever.

Judithra, I had the same thing happen, and got all paranoid ... and I just cashed out once for a mere $21 a four or five days ago. I'm getting blasted with TestSpin surveys, but haven't qualified for a single one of them, have had loads of stuff from the unnameable Gr******** outfit ... they are happy to let me into the lengthy sweepstakes entry ones, but all the paying ones seemed to call for a dread disease or crippling condition ... I didn't even manage to produce an adequate number of hot flashes to qualify for the one that seemed tailored for me! But you lucky thing --what a lovely lot of fun Invoke and other focus group stuff coming up later in the month!!

there is a strict policy on what can and cant be posted as far as survey sites go....and id say that 99 percent of posters follow it. this is a very fair and civil board :)........im not sure how much 'blessings' have to do with it...i think its more 'demographics' :D

no. You can post things from craigslist only if they tell you that you can not. I have been doing survey since 2000. I have posted must of the surveys on the boards. This board is new board. Please do not start a fight or argument with me. I stop posting on some board because people feel like they know all answers and they are not getting any surveys. I you have problem with me address it to me Thank you. I like helping others not causing problems.

I really think you are misunderstanding. No one has an issue with you. Everyone is speaking in general terms. I have been taking part in surveys and research for over 20 years. I have a good grasp on what I am doing. It's simply a fact that your demographics determine what surveys you are accepted for. No one was trying to start a fight or an argument with you. A defensive posture is really not called for here. I think if you step back and reread the posts you will see this is true.

I just finished a survey which started out by asking me if I enjoyed "sports/outdoor activites." Well, I'm not at all sporty, but who doesn't enjoy some kind of outdoor activity? The suvey turned out to be for a high-tech, sports-related accessory, and it quickly became evident that they had been looking for heavy-duty fitness freaks who are out mountaineering when they aren't taking part in the nearest decathalon. I felt like such a dork answering all their questions on the basis of the activities I entered on the first page under "Other": gardening and bird-watching! How do you rank my chances of being selected for the more lucrative follow-up telephone survey??? For some reason it gave me a horrible case of the giggles.

This summer I have found that taking surveys takes up much of my day. I am trying to catch up after being gone for 2 days. How much time do you devote to taking surveys each day? :gdwow: :gdwow: :gdwow:

Our firm, ResearchSight, is preparing to conduct a series of studies on how people who work in small businesses use technology . We just completed a study on employee benefits that folks from Gottadeal participated in. We pay $50-$75 per hour to participate in "teleweb" interviews in which people are interviewed by telephone as they complete tasks on the Internet. We also do 5-10 minute online surveys in which all participants are entered into raffles for cash prizes of $100 or more. Can I post an invitation to participate in our small business technology studies here?
