Is this a good deal? It looks good to me. Are there any other discounts or coupons I can use with Dell?

And/or any other suggestions for similar PCs?

Upgrade to 512MB Dual Channel 400MHz DDR SDRAM

Free: Dell 922 Photo All-in-One Printer

80GB Ultra ATA/100 7200RPM Hard Drive

Dual Drives: 48x CD-Rom and 48x CD-RW/DVD [Dual drives]

17" monitor E773c CRT monitor

This includes a $110 discount on select Dimension™ 3000 P4 desktops through Dell Small Business

Is there any way I can avoid the Ohio tax?

Thanks! This is a great site! I found this it and this thread by doing a Google search (what else) on "pentium 4 versus celeron d" and got right here!

Hi KentGuy,

:2welcome: to the GottaDeal forums :)

That is a good deal considering 512MB RAM, 80GB HD, dual optical drives (CD-ROM and CD-RW), 17" CRT monitor and free color printer.

Dell Small Business charges sales tax in all states.

These may be cheap computers, but they aren't very upgradeable. It lacks an AGP slot. On top of that, it still uses the old intel chipset. If you are looking for a good buy from Dell, you should try something that uses the 915G Express chipset. Basically the 4700 or the 8400 models. Just a thought.

you can find specials for the 4700 model for almost the same price. For approx $200 more, you can get something that will last a little longer, why not?
