starshine Posted April 11, 2006 Share Posted April 11, 2006 I'm sure this is very YMMV but yesterday I went to CVS and they had all of the "furniture" on sale for 75% off I got a faux leather ottoman for 6.00 a media center for my sons room for 3.50 a really nice lamp for 2.50 (the lamp shade was worth that it's really nice) and under the bed storage totes for 1.50 Also they had all the dollar bins of stuff marked down to 90% off I got scribble paper pads and construction paper pads for .09 Hulk sticker books for easter for .09 a book light for .20 clip magnets for .15 pack of 100 bendy straws for .09 There was alot of other stuff that I didn't need. Some stores never go past 50%, some will mark to 90% after 2 weeks. My suggestion is to see what stores around you clearance well, and stick to those. i have about 4 CVS stores that I frequent. stillw8n4aqt Posted April 12, 2006 Share Posted April 12, 2006 Went to my CVS tonite... did not have any dollar spot items on clearance... but all Christmas toys were 25%off (woo-hoo) Max Factor makeup for 90% off did get alot of lipsticks (2 packs) for .30 They should have been .60 but the MANAGER did not know percentages...
