Toys R us Lost My Layaway order

I am completely flabberghasted and beyond annoyed at this point. Back in mid sept I put down an $1100 layaway order at toys r us, which I do every year. I spent hundreds at my local toys r us every year and this year reall was no different. So this was my big layaway order and yesteray I went to pay it off. First they could not locate my order. Then they located it under an old phone number. So I paid off the layaway in full and then they could not locate my layaway order at all. The store manager tells me theyre looking for it and will find it by the end of the day or repull everything. I checked back twice yesterday. Still nothing. I go in first thing this morning and she tells me my layaway had been cancelled. i told her nope that was another layaway from a diferent date and I think now she's just buying time. You cannot pay off a cancelled layaway and now I'm beyond furious. They do not have my laway at all in the store and they promise they will get everything to me. I don't believe them. I waited all day before going back. They have just about everything except the pokemon cards which by now I'm like ok fine give me a refund for those and I'll just take the rest of the order. Enough is enough! I have never seen such poor customer service. I get the manager didn't lose the order and is trying to make it right but she tells me she'll have everything last night, then this morning, then by christmas. Completely unacceptable! Now I know why toys r us is going broke sadly:(

Wow your being more patient than me.  I'd go in there with my paid receipt and say ok. We will pull everything now together and I'll leave with it today. I wouldn't trust waiting and waiting. Or they may sell out of more than just the pokemon cards.

There’s absolutely no way I would trust the same people that lost the order to have everything by Christmas. Either pull everything that you do have and refund me the difference or give me all of my money back and allow me to attempt to purchase everything on my own. I hope you have contacted their corporate offices; I’m not one to moan and groan over every little retail issue but losing an $1100 layaway is worth placing a few calls.
