That alone on Christmas thread had some good stuff in it for those of us that do holidays alone. Hope it gets reposted. :)

Feel free to repost it yourself to get it going again. Like I said, I have the actual posts saved but I'm not going to repost everyone else's posts under my account so if someone needs me to look up something they posted, just let me know.

That did sound really interesting. I wasn't the one who actually said I'd try it but I was definitely thinking I was going to go back and look at that when I got ready to wrap. The engineer in me found the method fascinating and worthy of at least trying to make it work for me. :)

It was me that posted about trying it out. I think I will be able to remember what you said.

"i knew this would confuse someone.. but to me it was the way l learned.. i showed someone and she was SO SO amazed and said it cut the time it takes to wrap down by more then half. i don't know if i can explain without showing you..but you fold the paper to the right measurement  and then fold the paper over. crease it. and inside the crease place the back side of the butter knife. and slide it.. it is a LOT quicker then scissors and the cuts will be perfectly straight. ..sorry hard to explain without showing you..."

Feel free to re-post it wherever you think best.

The engineer in me is still trying to make a machine to cut and wrap for me.

I made one 19 years ago, but she has only be up and running for the past 5 years.  :tongue1:

I was going to say... I use to designate it to one of my kids who liked to wrap and did it well. (now they are too busy)
