Black Friday at Pet Smart?

Yes they do. :) That's where I buy the most stuff in person.

Cat litter

Big boxes of milk bones and the big bags of treats

Toys and stockings 50% off (not all toys. But good deals on Kong toys too)

Collars

Dog beds

And there's usually a good deal on big bags of food, but they seem to only have their normal stock, so sells quickly.

Go look back at the archives for Petsmart.  You'll see 95% of the exact same items year after year. Their ad is never a surprise (except the year the cat litter price went up $1....maybe 2015?), so if you don't see what you're looking for in the old ads, go ahead and buy it now. If your items are in there, then you make the decision of whether you want to get there by 8am on Friday morning and stand in line for 45 minutes to check out; the lines aren't all that long, they just move really slow.

I digress.... Kohl's historically has really long lines, but they are very organized and move in a timeline fashion. Joann Fabrics has the most time-consuming lines when it comes to custom fabrics and then checking out on top of that. Petsmart is one of the most annoying lines...

They often have their cat trees half off - I usually need a new one of those every few years with my kitties' talons. lol And yes, line is slow. Those stores really aren't designed well to handle a crowd like what shows up on BF. Only a few checkout lines.

I just had a new one open up across the street from me (yes literally), so I'll be curious to see how they handle it. I should mention the expected kitty litter run to them - not sure if the employees came in from other PS stores or are new hires who may not know about us crazy litter buyers.

I managed to get a great 150 gallon aquarium last year for a great price (I used credit card points for a Petsmart gift card, so I only really paid $100), but this year isn't that great for the things I buy. Menards has the Arm & Hammer litter for the same price every few months. Farm and Fleet just had a great sale on Pro Plan two weeks ago, so I stocked up for the dog and the cats. The Fancy Feast is a decent price.

Don't forget that Petsmart takes competitor coupons like Pet Supplies Plus, and we got an extra 15% off last week for downloading their app. I'm not positive that they will still have the app coupon on BF, but it doesn't hurt to keep an eye out for it.
