Note: personally I had a ton of fun shopping there today for my scrapbooking supplies. I spent about $35 for stuff that would have cost at least $50. All of this is on sale until March 11. And if you have the advertisement there should be a 40% off ORIGINAL priced item in case you want something not on sale. ENJOY!

The 3rd item from the top. It a stack of decorated and solid scrapbooking papers (180 sheets?)

Yep, you can get the pictured one in my op which has 180 sheets, or you can get the solid colored one (sort of primary colors) which has 96.

Thanks, and they have a scrapbook discovery day this Sat. March 11 and they're usually free and you get to make a couple of pages.

Do they provide any of the materials at this? that would be great!

PLMK

thanks!

the one's that I have been to you don't have to bring anything they supply everything, they are showing you new techniques or new products & they hope that you buy something I think, the pages are usually pretty nice that you make but I will have to say that the last time that I went we made a page with a lot on it and when we were all done everyone was wondering where you would put a picture on it because there was no room left for any pictures and they suggested that you use it as a title page, but I'm not complaining because it was free and I got out of the house for a couple of hours and usually at the end they draw someones name for some scrapbooking supplies sometimes a basketfull. they sometimes have you make a page and then you make cards which also use the same techniques and supplies as scrapbooking.

hope you have fun, I plan on going this saturday.

Oh yeah! This sounds like fun! :bounce_fl

I am gonna ask my mom if she will watch all three kids so I can go to this. Hopefully she will.

Thanks for letting us know what it is like.

I might bring my 4yo DD...Is that too young? It sounds like fun! Thanks for the insight Rockfordmom!

The couple that I've been to nobody has brought their children, sometimes they have scrapbooking & cardmaking classes specifically for moms & kids, but I haven't seen it said or written anywhere that you can't bring your kids.

Also you may want to get there a little early, sometimes a lot of people go & the tables are crowded. It seems like either a lot of people are there or only 1 or 2. And you have to be there to win the basket of supplies, and they give it away at the end to get you to stay for the whole time, that's the way that they do it at the one that I go to. Other stores may do it differently.

can someone check the papers for me? are they acid/lignin free and buffered? only asking because I use creative memories but would love to find more affordable papers to use. and the closest michaels to me is about 70miles away.

I have bought 2 Provo Craft Slab Paper sets in the past and they both say Acid Free & Lignin Free. What's buffered mean? They both say 80 lb. uncoated true 12x12" paper.

Hope this Helps!
