Today when I was at Borders, the lady working there told me Borders, Borders Express and Walden Books are starting a new rewards program. You have to sign up in the store, but if you also register your card online, you get a choice of three coupons. You can get: (ONE of the following)30% off couponFree 12 oz coffee$5 towards a holiday savings accountApparently, they will be rewarding customers' purchases throughout the year and putting a certain percentage towards a type of gift certificate you can use around the holidays. Personally, I would not recommend taking the 30% off coupon - I get e-mails from them every Thurs or Fri w/ deals for that weekend & it always contains a coupon for 20 - 30% off, changes weekly. From Nov 15th to Jan 15th that money gets released to you to spend for your holiday shopping at Borders! It's free. We do NOT give your information to anyone. The 30% off coupons get emailed to you every 4 weeks or so and they're good for any regular priced item (except electronics). For every $50 you spend, you get a "personal shopping day" where for that whole day, your TOTAL purchase is an additional 10% off- including sale items (sale items aren't normally stacked for discounts)! BUT, in their computers the FX's are listed under the heading of DVD, so you should receive whatever discount is applicable to buying a DVD. I did this at my Borders and it worked.
