I asked about this earlier, but lost the post to the server crash :(     Was wondering what everyone thought of this?  My kids saw the video and want to get it, but I'm not sure.

I've got one, but waiting until Christmas to open it, lol. Wife isn't too keen on the idea of always 'listening', but I don't have anything to hide. No real reviews from personal experience either. I think Amazon is waiting to get feedback before it goes to the masses.

It seems interesting... but I don't see it as a revolutionary product.

Thanks, just requested an invite. They probably send out the requests based on your purchase history or wtvr.

It is now available for everyone at 179. It does not include the remote, and I have never used it. It's fun, I use for grocery list, and music. It's fun for weather and to ask questions. I have been thinking about the vue lights. I have been waiting for my daughter, to come by. She and husband are big time developers.

I wish that it was as smart as Google's voice assistant. 8 times out of 10 I ask Alexa something and she says "I don't understand your question" but I do like "Alexa, turn on the den lights" + Tune In Radio - worth the $99 I paid for her! :)

Any feedback from those who have one?  Or has had one for awhile.  Looking at this for a Black Friday item.

Thanks!

I love it! We use it for kitchen timers, grocery list. I like playing music from Amazon, Bluetooth for iTunes. We have hue lights, some lamps and fans with we on. Alexa will turn them off or on with voice control. We have 2 echoes, one tap for outside and in the car. I preordered a dot for lights and can plug into hoe stereo, it's old no Bluetooth.

That 's what I needed!  Didn't want to spend or waste money until I learned more!
