I know people that have compared Chi to Hot Tools. I haven't done enough research of my own yet. I bought my Chi in 2009 or 2010 man it's been forever! from Kohls on BF and it still works great! Best straightener ever! I was able to order it from kohls.com on Thanksgiving day and every year I've been able to get my Kohls items online. If you order from kohls.com you'll get $15 kohls cash for ever $50 ... so I would just order some more stuff to make it $100. But there are almost ALWAYS 20% off online coupons and free shipping over $50 and if you use ebates or swagbucks you can usually get at least 6% back...last year Kohls cash back was really high this time of year. Click on the ad listings and at the top of the page in the blue bar is a search for the ads. I did a quick search and saw the Chi at Target for $99.99 but it comes with a bonus mini chi and a $20 gift card as well. It also brought up the Kohl's sale and one for $89.
