Any good deals on wireless surround sounds?

Soundbars are fine, but not for surround sound. You may just have to wait for a few more ads to come out, especially Newegg, Fry's, etc. I built one from the ground up using different stores to find what I needed. Best Buy used to have great deals on the receivers, but this year, it misses the mark by $100. I actually have two 500 watt systems, but the other is run by one of my computers. You can snag some great deals on piece-meal items to build a great system if you shop around.

Although not wireless, for $247, this could be a great alternative if you can splice wires to adapt to your needs!

There are a number of surround sound systems in the listings now.  Look under the "Electronics" category.

 

This is a key item that I am shopping for.  Two that I have seen good reviews for are not in the ads:

I should add that these are not wireless.  See the listings for some wireless systems.

I strongly suggest you try to get one with multiple HDMI inputs. The flexibility can come in handy down the road.

I'm sure the Sonos is nice and all (and at that price, it better be); but, nothing about what I'm seeing really says "home theatre."

It is a whole wireless home audio and internet system.  You can listen to music, tv, etc wirelessly anywhere on property as well as it will carry your internet signal there too.    My buddy loves using it to listen to and watch football games on the TV, but then if he goes out to the grill, or the boat dock, or to work on car he has a speaker set up there as well so he just listens to it wherever he is.  He also has a good bit of $$.
