I got the cancel notice too, hope they credit my card back, it still shows up as a bill on my card.

I just got the same cancellation email. Check the order status does say that they shipped out the one "MAXINE'S MENOPAUSE SERVIVAL KIT" that I ordered (but not the other 9 tins that were backordered). I wonder if they will give credit back for the $4.95 they charged or what.

Oh crap! :mad: My order just showed up on my credit card today. I haven't gotten a cancellation email, but I am sure it's coming. Please post and let us know what they plan on doing as far as returning credit if anyone finds out.

Mine also was backordered. However, I checked my credit card this morning and they had charged my credit card 3 times!!! I called customer service and the lady said something about my card expires tomorrow and they wanted to make sure they got their money. Do what??? My card doesn't expire until 01/2007! I asked her if she had any information about when the tins would be available and she said "No ma'am. I'm just customer service, here to answer your questions. I don't work in shipping." I asked her did she think that I would be able to get them before Christmas, she said, "Ma'am, I don't know that either. again, I don't work in shipping." So I told her to just cancel my order and return the $14.85 to my credit card. The she says, "Well, that's probably best because these tins aren't coming in anyway."... now lady, you JUST told me 3 times that you don't work in shipping and you don't know when they'll be in and now you tell me they aren't coming?????

Interesting, I guess everyone who actually got the product Kudos to you, the rest just get the email. Funny, they didn't catch that before charging our CC's. I hate when they go back on something like this when they are the ones that made the mistake.

hopefully the amount is just a hold amount as it still shows on my CC. I will give them a few days if I'm still billed then I may call them and find out what gives.

beat me to it... i was on my way here to post my email i got from them. yep, cancelled also. what a bummer. and yes, my cc has been charged! i hope they are going to credit them back without a major issue! i was looking forward to these also. i have been buying 'little' things to make small gift bags for the girls at work! at least i have other things to put in them.

I got the cancelation notice but when I log into my account on the site it says backordered not cancelled. We'll see I guess. :wife:

I have been charged and haven't gotten the dreaded email yet. I called Hallmark and was told my package should be here either tomorrow or Weds and that he *thinks* the rest of my backordered items will be coming in within the next 2 weeks, but couldn't say so for a fact. He said I could call back on Friday and they should have more info on the backordered items.

Got same email. I've had terrible run ins with Hallmark in the past two years, so I wrote them back about those problems (which I've complained about before already) and then this. My situation is a bit different, just because with orders of flowers and such they've let me down (charging yet not delivering, or delivering a week late!). So I am wondering what they will say, if they reply that is.

I got the same cancellation email, though ironically I received half of my order this morning, the other half was backordered, thought it strange of them to cancel my order after shipping it?? lol, they definately have some wires crossed around there.

I got half of my order this morning; than this afternoon I got the email that said they were cancelling it. I just hope they don't charge my account for the regular price! They can't do that, can they?:shock:
