Big lots has some good deals right now. well thier flyer is for sunday but i went early(yesterday) and they have/had the batteries deal already out. it was 16 AA battery packs for 2.88. they are rayovac batteries. Also while i was in the store i noticed a good buy for people with small kids. they had 16" bikes in the box for 10.00. these were on a shelf up front but marked 10.00. the batteries were not up front with the usual battery deals they were on an endcap in the toy dept.

We went tonight too, after we got the flyer for tomorrow. They have the surefit sofa, loveseat, and chair slipcovers. Ours had a really great selection. The funny thing was just 2 nights ago I almost bought the Surefit brand ones for triple what I just ended up paying tonight at Big Lots. I am a very happy camper!!

I got a couch one for $39.99 and a matching chair for $19.99. They did have some couch one's for $29.99. Also loveseat ones for $19.99 and $29.99. They are really nice. I love the brand and I'm really excited to have gotten them for this price. I've been watching for a good deal and this was about as good as I was ever going to get.

I could also use a 16in bike for my 3 year old. Wonder if I called if they would tell me if they have any available. The closest BL is over an hour.

I think a 16 inch bike might be too big for your daughter. A 16 inch bike normally fits a 5-7 year old. I don't know--your daughter might be very tall, but a 12 inch bike might suit her better.

I agree. My dd's are 4 & 6. 16" is perfect for them, my 6 yr old is avg height, and my 4 yo is VERY tall for her age. She's the tallest kid in her entire preschool. I think 10 or 12 inch would be more suited for a 3 year old. Unless your kid is a giant like mine! lol.

My daughter is short and we bought her a 16'. We had her sit on it to make sure she would fit and she fits perfectly with room to grow for a year or two. My son is also 5 and we bought him a 20'. He also fits on it and is on the smaller size.

Maybe if your ever out and there are bikes around, have them sit on it to be sure.

See my 5 year old fits on a 20 so I figure the 3 would fit on a 16. Maybe I better check her...lol.

My big lots didnt have any either. But they did explain it to me. She said that what is the 3, 5, and 10.00 clearance stuff, its what is left from last christmas. She said the bikes were 20.00, so it made perfect sense that they would be marked down to 10. But my store didnt have any at all. She said they will be getting bikes in before christmas, and should be ~ 20.00 again. HTH.
