I had to go with Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. I feel so badly for these sweet innocent kids who have to live with this disease. I missed the drawings in the past but, if it hasn't already been chosen, I would like to suggest The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. I participate in alot of the runs/walks for this foundation and their work is so necessary.

I see you have already got a list of charities for this contest, but if it is run again you should look into the Ronald McDonald House Carity!!!

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think that one was one of the charities selected in our last contest. Once a charity has been donated to, it's removed from the list so that others have a chance the next time something like this is done. It's a really well known charity and it wouldn't have been left off the list ordinarily, I don't think...we had a Deals for Charity event a few months ago and as I said, I believe that one was one of the winning ones.

A little boy in my son's pre-K class last year died over the summer (cancer) and the Ronald McDonald House was so helpful to his family.

FYI, the poll closes the morning of 11/30 at which point we wll announce the 3 selected charities, as well as the winner of the grand prize :)

I wish you could do it sooner so the winner could use the prize as part of the Black Friday spirit. I hate waiting and I don't see the harm in having it now. :D

I voted for 3. Alzhiemers, AHA, and Habitat. My grandmothers husband passed from Alz. and it is a horrible disease, lots of suffering. AHA because strokes run in my family. Dad had 2, aunt had 3, grandpa had 3, FIL had 1. Too Close to home. ANd habitat because they do great work. I see it everyday, as there are quite a few neighborhoods in my area that have been built by habitat.
