Just for your information: Old Navy is now clearancing there summer clothes. Some of the stuff that I saw was Men's Cargo Shorts for $5, Tanks $1.50 and Men's flip-flops for .50. For women they had shorts, shirts and capris for 75% off. Not really good deals. But you don't pay the entire price.

Boys cargo shorts were $2 but they only had tan. Also for girls mostly shirts for .50 and flip-flops .50. They did have some capris at 1/2 off. But I am cheap what can I say.

Also Walmart is clearancing alot of there toys.

Just a little side note Sears in Minot ND will be having a HUGE clearance on there appliances.

They're having a sale on some of their fall stuff too. :) Not nearly as good a deal as the clearance stuff, but 25% off all baby clothes got me in the door today. I got the green bomber jacket for my 3-year-old and a cute little shirt for the 1-year-old. And I'm not telling the 5-year-old I went there as what I'd wanted for him wasn't in the store. ;)

good time to stock up for next summer ^_^

Only if (a) your child grows at a predictable rate, and (B) the store has a decent selection of clothes.

For some reason my 3-year-old is the only one who I can count on to be in a certain size at regular yearly intervals...the 5-year-old started out growing like a weed but is wearing the same size t-shirts now as he did last summer, and the 22-month-old is just a mess to buy anything for. Tall, thin, short legs...so she takes anywhere from size 12 months to 2T right now depending on whether you're buying pants, a dress, or something else. LOL. So I have NO clue what she'll be in next year. I'm jealous of the parents who get to stock up at clearance sales and have their kids actually wear the stuff the next year. ;)

If it makes you feel any better my oldest grew four inches this summer and all the clothes I bought her didn't fit. Thank God she has a sister not too far behind her. And they were only jeans. But even still there are some good deals that you could maybe give as gifts or something. I guess I am just lucky that I have all girls.

Thanks, I'll have to stop on the way home tonight. Unfortunately, our Old Navy doesn't carry baby clothes, only toddler and up.

That's insane! Ours has everything. They just recently got maternity, though. When I was pregnant with DD, I had to drive down to Nashville to buy anything. I didn't understand it...you'd think a store near a military base would have a good maternity section. ;) So I'd drive down there, try everything on, determine my size, buy a couple of things, then come home and order online here and there. Now that I'm not having babies, the store here puts in a maternity section. Argh.
