Because if it's the amex blue cash route, they extend my warranty for another year. I guess I could go with the larger hard drive. I have an extra copy of XP pro sitting at home waiting to be installed on my new laptop (used it on my old laptop which I reinstall xp home on before selling) My only main concern about the 700m is the gaming ability. I don't plan on playing huge graphics intensive games on this guy but I do like real time strategy games as well as Diablo 2. I figure if I get the 1 gig of ram, it'll help out.
