This is a really excellent GPS unit. You can pay $500 more for the RoadMate 700 model which has a built-in hard drive containing the entire U.S. and Canada maps, or get this model and use the included 128MB CompactFlash card to store one region at a time.

With CompactFlash prices being so cheap these days, you can easily pick up a 512MB or 1GB card and store a good chunk of the country without shelling out the extra $500 for the otherwise-identical 700 model.
