Brad Posted August 19, 2005 Share Posted August 19, 2005 and for the extra $200 for the $1199 model you gain: 1.28GB RAM vs 768MB RAM Microsoft Office Basic vs Microsoft Works Office Basic sells for around $150, so it's probably not worth it as you are also only getting 512MB more of RAM. Carazariah Posted August 19, 2005 Share Posted August 19, 2005 I think this is a pretty hot deal! Dell values these (FREE Upgrades) at $1348 dollars (on the $1199 Model). So not everyone needs a Nylon Case and Office Basic but its not often that you can get a $2547 laptop for $1199 from Dell or more than 60% off the retail price.
