Just got back from our local Walmart and not a sole in the store would dicuss the Saturday Sale beginning at 8am...Bahumbug!

But I was able to score some Tom Turkeys for .40 a pound, limit 2 per person if anyone is in need! Makes great Turkey pot pie with the left overs! I have had better results with this turkey in the past then with the bigger name brands! Happy Shopping!:cheesy:

I found out too late that I had eaten one of the 40 cents a pound turkeys at our sons house. It was really good, every bit as good as brand name. I did get two of the 60 cent a pound Honeysuckle White, paid just under $10 for each.

Has anyone but me noticed that Walmart has marked up the stuff you need to go with the turkey?

I got a .40 River Bend turkey early Friday morning at Walmart (I meant to post here and forgot). It was about 8:00 am and there weren't many left. I got a 14 pounder for just over 5 bucks. I'll be serving Christmas dinner for five people for about $15. :D

I think it's Target that has Stovetop for only 79¢ a box this week. Bring the flyer to Walmart and they'll price match. Although my Walmart is pretty good about marking things down a little lower than the competitor.

Our Wal-Mart has the Stove Top marked down to $.78 a box. I just bought 4 boxes on Sunday morning.

They sure were! I cooked one a few days after purchasing mine. MMMmmmmmm~!!!!

I found out what stove top stuff is. I have eaten that, but it is gross. Like eating soggy croutons..... I make my dressing home made with cornbread, turkey drippings, onions, bell peppers and celery, and a little bit of sage.

Just bought a 22 pound turkey for $8.xx! Yeah,I just hope its a good turkey!

I bought one about 2 weeks ago and had it> I cooked it in the cooking bags, it was so good. I for one cant tell the differnce in brands and beleive it is more on how you cook it.

Well hope it comes out good for you. Enjoy and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
