I have some Koss Earbuds, and I like them. I guess I'm really not an audiophile, but they work. I use them in my laptop, so people at work don't need to listen to what I've got playing. My Sony's that I use in my MP3 player do sound a bit better, but they cost 2x as much as the Koss one's did.
