A loaded laptop for under $700 with wireless internet and 1 year warranty. Any parents reading this, looking for a "back to school" laptop that won't break the bank? This is it!

Thanks to RossMAN for coming up with the config in the other thread. Like he said, great laptop for college, especially with the big 15.4" widescreen LCD. It can replace the big desktop/monitor combo, plus with the WiFi it'll be very useful at most colleges. There are many upgrades available if you want them (DVD burner, higher resolution screen, etc...) and those will also be 40% off with the coupon.

Pay for your laptop with a qualifying VISA, MasterCard or Amex credit card and receive an additional year of warranty coverage for FREE.

I've called VISA to see if my Bank of America/Alaska Airlines cc offered this feature? Nope.

However VISA confirms that my CitiBank Dividend cc does offer VISA card benefits.

PLUS I earn 1% cash back by using my CitiBank cc, is that awesome or what? :gd_not_ri

:homer: likes FREE!

I'm tempted to buy this. The sales tax though is $50 bucks. I live in georgia and this week is sales tax holiday. Computer qualify. I wonder if Dell would not charge tax since I am in georgia? Edit: I didn't get that Laptop from computer geeks yet.

Dany, this would be 10x better than the laptop from Geeks.com The Geeks.com laptop stated the battery is NOT guaranteed to retain a charge. So it would suck having a laptop with a battery that doesn't hold a charge. At least with this you get a better resolution screen, combo DVD/CD-RW, built in WiFi and 1 year warranty.

yeah ross I know it is alot better. I've just been sitting adding up future bills. I will be passing this great deal up. I've got up to $500-$600 in dental work coming up in August. Then I'm not sure how much will be covered for this new college I'm going too. Just when I'm ready to buy reality smacks me in the face. I will just keep a look out on gottadeal and hopefully I will be able to get one soon. :) Thanks
