Yeah I should have bought this for my sister rather than the $299 1905FP.

Wasn't the 1905FP from the 15th? Still returnable, no?

I just ordered one. Even with sales tax and state environmental fee (I live in California), it's a great deal!

Thanks GottaDeal!!

Anyone know if they are doing this because they are coming out with a New Revision or new starting price?

They are most likely doing this for the same reasons as they did the laptop deals - it's the end of their quarter and they want to move product.

Considering the 2005FPW just came out not too long ago, and the 2405FPW is out and is basically the same monitor just bigger, I don't think there will be any new models. A price drop in the base price might happen, but these 35% and 40% coupons will go away until the end of next quarter, so even if they lower the base price by $100 or so, it's unlikely these "final" prices will be back for at least 3 more months. The DPA 10% discount also might not be around much longer.

Thanks a million, Brad.
I cancelled my previous order and placed a new one with your DPA coupon along with the others--I paid this time $385 shipped to CA including sales tax & state environmental fee. Amazing!!!

Yes but that would be a pain plus they have a Dell Dimension 3000 with no AGP. They're currently using analog which is acceptable on the 1905FP but I'd hate to see that on a 2005FPW.

Besides being the bigger brother, I have to have the better/larger LCD. It's just the way life is.

Nope just 1 sibling, should have said older brother instead of bigger brother.

Same difference

Man, for the longest time, I thought it was Ross who said he blew 4 grand on laptops! We should really start thinking about retiring old avatars.
