Does your supermarket use them? I know a bunch do. I found that the key to getting the most is to make sure that you have one card and instead of your spouse getting one of those get them to apply for their own.

This way if you buy a considerable amount of groceries you can take advantage of extra savings. Just use both cards. This year I got 2 free turkeys - one for christmas and one for new years.

Yep Safeway offered it first then Albertsons offered one.

I don't have either with me, I just give them our phone number.

I have Food Lion's, Kroger and Harris Teeter. The Kroger and Food Lion are the best, as they follow your spending and will often send coupons for FREE items that you usually buy. I get more from Kroger than anyone else.

I shop at the commissary which doesn't do savings cards. Back home I had a Ralph's club card. Albertson's didn't do cards when I lived there.

I have Food Lion and Kroger. I love Kroger, but this food LIon really sucks. It wins for the dirtiest grocery store in town, hands down!! Kroger is awesome though.

I have Kroger & Giant Eagle cards. Of course, you know that you're really not getting great deals with these cards. Sales and discounts are just like what they used to be. The only difference is now you need the card to get the sale price and then the entire corporation gets to know what you bought for Thanksgiving dinner...

We have one for QFC, Albertson's and Safeway but probably us the QFC one the most often. We're all big coffee drinkers so we like the 'buy 6 drinks, get 1 free' thing.

I have several saving cards from area grocery stores. I use the Giant Eagle on a lot as with the sales w/ the card, they also double coupons up to .99 So I can save big there if its an item the whole family likes.

I have an Albertson's card which stays inside my purse.... I also was given 2 mini cards which can also be attached to a key ring but those aren't being used.

I also carry a Safeway card with me.

Majority of the grocery trips hubby and I go together anyway.

I like the Giant Eagle one. For every $50 you spend you get .10 off per gal of gas. Last time I filled up I paid $1.07 a gal !!

ETA I HIT 300!!! Yea for me! LOL

Kroger and Marsh do it here. yes they track what I buy, but they also send me specials designed to my family, so I don't care that big brother is watching LOL!

Kroger here is doing 15¢ off per gallon if you hit $100 automatically, so I got one more trip to make before filling up

I love my Kroger card too--I'm up to about $1700 saved this year. I wish that there was a way to update the address on the card without getting a new card though. I bought this house 3 years ago and haven't gotten any good deals in the mail from Kroger since :-( I love the coupons that come out at the checkout and the tracking coupons on the bottom of the receipt too--I have 2 cards (well, my husband has one and I have one) so this year, I bought 100 General Mills Items and got 1000 bonus boxtops for my daughter's school. You can't beat that!!

I'm not sure if I shop at a store that doesn't have a discount card, heck - even my favorite coffee store has a card. I think gas stations need discount cards.. I seem to be spending alot of money there lately.
