hehehe

So it isn't just me!! I put all my inserts in a crate.. let it sit.. . let it sit... got bigger.. and bigger... the holiday came....

I bribed and offered money to the boys but they know what a pain it is after 3 long clipping sessions...

Hub asks "I'm gonna start a fire can I use this newspaper box?" Why ask a if it's ok when you've already wadded them and stuffed some in the furnace haha

So after 4 days of clipping during free time I'm finally done whew
Everytime I do this afterwards I say boy I'm not gonna let that get behind again (yeah right)

Worst part is I had them in neat pretty piles waiting to be filed, started dinner and found the cats playing with the coupons!!!!!!

But on a more serious note LOL
I broke down and bought a paper trimmer from Office Max and it's cut waaay down on the time it takes. It's worth the initial cost. Still have to use scissors on some but not many

I have found that using a piece of cardboard and an Xacto knife works great on clipping them. Really easier on the fingers.

Really? That would seem more tedious to me.

I think finding the right sized (small) scissors which are easy to use would be the ideal solution?

Nope, not tedious at all. I put a thick piece of cardboard in my lap and just slice them out. Goes much faster and I do away with all the "extra" paper around the coupon. Scissors are ok for me for a while, but then my fingers start to cramp and I grab the Xacto.

I usually have 8-10 of each insert, so I group stacks of the same page together & cut through them all. Makes it a LOT faster if you have multiples.
