What area are you in?
I'm in coupon capitol USA in Fort Wayne, Indiana .........home of the triple to 50¢ and double to $1 EVERYDAY! Stores here also pricematch other stores. Why? We are overloaded w/ grocery stores and they compete like heck for the business! A small IGA type store here grew into an empire sending Meijers and Kroger on the warpath a few years ago. Kroger even does Quads here several times a year. I love this town! Free groceries for your coupons every day of the year!

What a great topic, I look forward to many more like this.
Safeway has these great double coupons which Albertson's also accepts. In fact Albertsons accepts all competitors coupons including Safeway double coupons. I wish there were stores around here who TRIPLE coupons, that would be

that's awesome that you get triple coupons every day!
I'm in wilmington, delaware. acme: doubles up to $1.00 every day. they offer tripple coupons up to 50 cents about once every two months. all of the other grocery stores (Super G, Superfresh, Shop Rite) all have double coupons all of the time. target: no price matching, no double coupons, no price adjustments for anything purchased on black friday

I shop at Shop-Rite, they double coupons up to 50 cents. Pretty weak, oh well. I get what I can at Target, because their prices blow the local Shop-Rite out of the water. Shop-Rite beats Target, Stop&Shop and Pathmark on selection though.

I shop at the commissary, which never even doubles. Just face value. And they don't take internet (computer-generated) coupons. But they are very close and usually much cheaper overall, so driving farther to use coupons at a store that doubles them is usually not worth it.

I like how sometimes even without a coupon Albertson's has various reduced price items...and within the same time period Safeway has their printed coupon but is much higher.. So Albertson's wins with me.

I am in CA, Vons and Ralphs double every day- I use grocerygame.com and usually save around 60-70% each week. This weeks went from 286.00 to 113.00. I saved less than usual because I brought my 13 year old son with me- and ended up with things that weren't on the list.
The site is grocerygame.com. Last edited by kbasketcr8r; 11-27-2004 at 1:29 AM. |

man... ralphs stopped doubling my high value coupons and will only double up to a dollar. i haven't had that many high value coupons used at vons recently so i wouldn't be able to verify.
most places only double, albertsons only accepts face value (the one in santa monica anyways, there aren't any near me in koreatown.) |

The only place here that doubles is Kroger and that's only up to 50 cents :-( Freds doubles up to a $1.00 on Saturday only, but they only have cleaning supplies mostly (a few grocery items, but usu ally nothing I have a coupon for anyway)

Here Giant Eagle doubles everyday up to .99 and once in a while Tops trips theirs. It's not that often with Tops anymore though. When they do have it you can only trip up to 6 coupons at a time. I usually make more than one trip to the store! LOL gotta save one way or another!

Hopefully sometime next year they'll add more local stores. At least the local "big 3" (Albertsons, Safeway and Fred Meyers). |

grocerygame.com is a list that comes out every Saturday- somehow this woman knows when things are going to be on sale, and she keeps track of what coupons are out, so you stockpile and get "rock bottom" sale prices. If you go to the website and put your zip in, it will tell you what stores are in your area that she covers. Since I have been doing it, she has doubled the amount of stores. I am lucky, there are 2 stores to choose from in my area, so I normally buy two papers and do the list twice, if it is a good one.
There won't be a list this week, because of no coupons for the holiday weekend. |

I am in Virginia and Harris Teeter doubles daily up to and including $.99, Krogers doubles daily up to and including $.50....but every few weeks, both stores will double, up to and including a $1 and that is when I save big.

I must be in the same area as Rossman
Safeway & Thriftway double up to 4 coupons max .50 cents. I usually bring these and the Fred Meyer (Kroger) coupon book to Albertson's since they have better sale prices. Good lawrd I would go nuts if they doubled unlimited! |

The stores here might print a limit in the paper, but they NEVER hold us to it. I have redeemed 60+ coupons at a time.
