Damn! That's quite a deal! Any idea which "selected" models this will work on, or is it any Inspiron over $1500?

Is there any additional savings if you use a Dell Preferred Account?

RossMAN, you posted some time back either here or on AT about a system you got, sold two monitors and broke even.

Is ANYTHING of the sort possible with this?

It's pretty much any Inspiron that you customize yourself. It's not good on some of the preconfigured bundles which usually come with longer warranties, etc... but if you customize your own, it will work.

I'm not able to use the coupon code

I think it's because of the 10% discount, anyway to avoid this discount?

It's under my EPP account as well,

Are you trying to use the coupon code now?

Offer Valid: 10/19/04 6:00am CST through 10/20/04 5:59am CST

The $750 coupon should automatically remove the 10% discount (although if they both were stackable that would be even nicer )

hey guys I just joined this forum from ATOT

so I am thinking of picking up the 700m and selling it locally

my question is, if I cant sell it, what is dell's policy on returns? so I will be SOL on the shipping cost to ship back the laptop?

Welcome to the forums, please make yourself at home

Great choice on the Dell Inspiron 700m, this model is in high demand. Brad recently bought one and he is very happy with it so far.

Dell's return policy is 21 days. I would also recommend DO NOT OPEN THE BOX, keep it sealed. If it does not sell, just call Dell within 21 days to obtain an RMA # and ship it back to them.

Yes but there is a way around this to get free shipping back to Dell.

As long as the package remains SEALED (NOT OPENED) just contact FedEx/UPS/DHL and request a "return to sender". It uses the same tracking number which was sent to you and it goes back to Dell's warehouse. Remember to first call Dell customer care within 21 days to first obtain an RMA # then do a "return to sender".

$0 to ship back to Dell

The coupon is supposed to expire at 5:59am CST tomorrow morning, but Dell could pull it at any time if they want to.

During the last laptop sale they pulled the coupon EARLY.

So unless you want to be a victim of "you snooze, you lose" I would suggest ordering ASAP.

Remember you can always cancel your order later if you change your mind. Dell also has a 21 day return policy.

The 9100 model was pulled as I made changes to add the internal wireless card.

Does anyone know whether another one of these >$700 off deals will come around again soon?
