Yep once I can find a $35 off $300 coupon, I'll be ordering.

LOL I've already upgraded and my X30H hasn't even arrived yet.

The one I had expired a few days ago. If you need memory for filler stuff/whatever, I have a 25% off coupon you might be abel to stack up.

Just a note that you also get a free 2nd battery. I didn't have that in the original post.

So basically:

Axim X50v
2 year warranty
2nd battery
free upgrade to WM 5.0

You can also add the Creative Labs MuVo TX FM 512MB MP3 Player for $65 more.

I just ordered, this is super freakin' hot!

What pushed me over the fence was:
  • VGA resolution since I plan to watch TV and DVD's on this
  • 2 year warranty
  • FREE Windows Mobile 5.0 Upgrade CD
  • FREE additional battery
  • FREE Ground Shipping
  • 0% Oregon sales tax

Question is - how long are you going to keep it this time? Don't forget the built-in WiFi/BlueTooth... wireless internet on the go!

I give it 3 months but that's when Windows Mobile 5.0 is released, so possibly 6 months.

Although if I sell this x50v I could afford a new Mac Mini, hmmn.

I'm still waiting for the HTC Universal later this year to replace my i-mate JAM. I have to have the integrated GSM/GPRS. Otherwise I'd have ordered this one in a second.

So tempting for the programmable toy factor since I have the MS development tools through work. This has a better screen and is faster than my first 4 PCs: 286, 386, 486, p1.

But for the same money I could get a PSP, also (with hacks) offering its share of coolness. Decisions, decisions . . . .

Does the x50 use the same cradle as the x30?

They use different cradles. The X50 sits on top of the cradle, and the X30 slides into its cradle.
