All you Wilkes-Barre ppl: Where you planning on shopping???...Im a rookie at this and I am going to need some advice!! Let me know cool people!
There is a KOHLS right off I-81 Exit 168 I believe...Just get off the exit..Make a left a the light...Go straight for a bit...You will pass a bunch of restaurants and stores including walmart ..You'll pass a big vacant parking lot, then the kings college activity field... Next to that theres a sam's club...Turn left into there and Sams club is right next to Kohls ... Hope this helps...

Springfield is so crazy, you can only make it to one or two stores in 6 hours. Way too few stores for so many people. There's only one of each (except Walmart and K-Mart ) for the million people in the city and outlying 'suburbs'.

I'm in Glencoe, not sure where I'm going yet or if my son is able to go with me. I always miss out on the good deals for him because he loves to come and I don't want him to know what he's getting so I either wait til later in the day or pay higher price later.

I think it's interesting that, in the years I've been on here, this is the first time I've seen a thread like this; perhaps it normally doesn't get much of a response because, as all the ads start coming out, it gets bumped down and people miss it? Just a thought.
Definitely wish I'd known about this in years past. I always go alone.

I live in the St Louis area but shop on the Illinois side. We shop the OFallon/Fairview Heights area. They still have a Krispy Creme!

Grand Rapids, MI here... I'm usually hardcore about going it alone, but last year, the hour and half long checkout line at Kohls started to change my mind. I watched some smart shopping partners get in line as soon as they got inside and then they took turns shopping and waiting in line.

So its spread out a bit, but if your able to manage your time, then it should be fairly easily. A couple years ago, I hit the mall for a gift package at 6, shopped a few stores there, hit Circuity City (which killed me time wise), Best Buy , 2 Wal-marts , across town to Kohls , a few other stores, the back to the mall all by 11. The longest time waiting was CC (which I waited in checkout line for an hour and a half) and Kohls . Also went with casual shoppers which slowed me down. What stores are you interested in, I might be able to help you with a plan on getting around Columbia. Another choice might be Jeff City, not quite as many choices, but they have a large amount of places too, I've never shopped there though. |

I'm hoping for a good Staples ad, then I will be in Seabrook. If there is a really good Wal-mart ad I will be in Epping.

Do you live in Sarasota? I am in Port Charlotte and depending on the deals I am torn between Sarasota, Fort Myers and the brand new Port Charlotte store this year. What time do you get there to be first? |
