Spy Fox (never heard of it, but looks super cute), Lego Star Wars and Littlest Pet Shop-- can't remember, but two I think were $14.99, so one was free.

Used three $10 off coupons and the cashier said "wow! that's great!" yes, it is.
I was thinking about purchasing the Madagascar Kartz for my DS3, do you think he would be old enough to enjoy it?

BTW, take the coupon you just got with your reciept to CS and they should credit you the $5.00 back as long as the coupon doesn't state that it can't be used on a previous purchase.

I got it for my kids, DS5 & DD3. Not sure if DD will be able to do it or not, but I'm kind of over the Mario worship going on in our house so I went with the Madagascar one over MarioKart. A good one to get, if you don't have it, is the Diego game. We have that and the Dora one (basically the same concept). She can kind of do that one, but enough that she enjoys it. I also picked up Dance Dance Revo Disney (was clearanced to $17) and I'm hoping she can do that too. They both like wii music-- especially the "dog" instrument that shows a guy in a dog costume and barks in tune.

I've been to Target 4 times in the past few days.... another trip? I'm not feeling it. LOL

I took advantage of the Wii sale + coupon again today, and picked up Mariokart (I was going to go with the Madagascar one, but I figured DH would like this one more. I also got Wii Sports Resort and the Cabela's Big Game Hunter with the rifle attatchment. DH will be SO excited about that one! Got 3 great games, and saved another $60! I am getting so anxious for Christmas now!!

One more question... I am planning to get the Leapfrog Tag reader with the coupon in the toy book, and am thinking about the books to go along with them. Right now, TRU has the books on sale for $9.99 and I have $3 off coupons from leapfrog. Is it better to pay for the books at full price minus the $3 coupon at the register, and then take them to the service desk to be pricematched? Or should I check out at the service desk and have them price adjust and take off the coupons? Will they do that?

At the store that I went to for the 2 price matches that I've done so far, they told me I HAD to pay for the item through the checkout lane and THEN come to customer service for the price match.

I dunno... others have said the cashiers have done the price match for them at the register. I think the policy is that you are supposed to pay for the item and then go to CS for the price match/refund. It's an added hassle, which maybe is why they do it that way! HAH!!! If I know I"m price matching, I try to do it at a time when I know the store won't be so busy and the lines not so long at CS.

So the store is profiting from that sale because they will still get reimbursed from the manufacturer for the coupon. I can sort of understand not refunding the coupon amount if it was a Target coupon, though.

I have always gotten back the full amount including the coupon amount. The register does it automatically (at least at my store.)

I was at Target Customer Service tonight to return something. The lady in front of me was trying to exchange a Wii game that she bought on the sale. The cashier told her she could only have credit for what she paid (which shows on the receipt) and would have to pay the difference even though she was exchanging for a game that was the same original price and the sale is still going on. That lady was VERY pissed off!

Does anyone know if you can use the Tag coupons that can be printed online on the Tag books? It says on the coupon "Any book in the Tag library". Thanks!

I have another question. How are you guys getting the Tag Jr for 8.99? The $10 Target coupon and Leapfrog coupon is for the the Tag, not Tag Jr. Are they allowing the Tag coupons to go through? There is a Leapfrog coupon for Tag Jr. for 5.00. Thanks!

The manfucturer Q should be fine.. the target Q might beep but when we got ours we just said it says tag system which the Jr says Tag system too and they let it go. Have had 2 friends do it without a problem.

I went tonight and got:

Mario Kart
Bakugan
Wii Resort (the one with the single remote because they said the pkg. with the double remote was not included in the sale.)

Got the B2G1 deal
Used $10 off coupon
Used $5 gift card with $50 toy purchase

So I paid $89.97 plus I got a $5 gift card.

Question - does anyone know what the $5 coupon on the Barbie and The Three Musketeers coupon says. What other Barbie movie do you need to buy to get the $5 off?

TIA

when the web site at target first went up with the coupons I printed them all off. They are small coupons! Those first coupons had the barbie dvd included on the $5 barbie one. The new coupons are much larger and do not have the barbie dvd listed on them. Sorry but hope that helps...

I just handed the cashier 3 of the $10 Target coupon and 3 of the $10 Leapfrog coupons got 3 Tag Jrs. Only thing scashier said was "wow you got a good deal, only $8.99 for those."
I had the $5 Leapfrog Tag Jrs in my purse just in case.

Told a friend about them, she was going yesterday to get 2 Jrs, she hasn't called and said she couldn't get them so I'm assuming she did!

I've done this a few times this week, and I found it better to pay at the register with the coupon then take it to GS to get the price match.

FOLLOW UP, I JUST DID A GAME SWAP:

I went back to Target today to exchange one game. They were only going to give me the credit price on the receipt ($33.34 refund from a $49.99 game) towards the new one instead of a direct exchange.

HOWEVER: I had the cashier supervisor tell me before I completed my original purchase the other day that I could exchange. I was very polite to the lady doing the returns, and explained to her what I was told when I purchased the games. She understood, and said it would require an override, and called the supervisor - luckily for me, it was the same supervisor that helped me with my original purchase. I explained that I wanted to trade the one game for the other one. I was very nice, polite, and cheerful, and she did it without a problem. She thanked me for being polite and patient, and made a comment about rude customers that yell and get really upset, and that they usually don't get "overrides" (which is strictly at a supervisors whim).

The exact procedure was that she credited back the $33.34 to put the returned game back into their inventory, and then did a supervisor discount on the new game to that price.

What allowed me to do this was asking and getting approval for a future swap BEFORE I completed my purchase, and writing down the supervisor's name, and not being in a hurry when I did my exchange, as well as treating them like I would want to be treated.

I posted this on the perimeter perusing thread, but it would probably be better here.

Found the Furreal Lulu the Cat and it was on "price cut" for $38...regular price is $49.99. I was going to price match it to the Toys R Us toy book price of $39.99, so this is better! Use the $10 coupon and you can get it for $28! Still not dirt cheap, but my daughter fell in love with the thing and it's all she's asking for.

Did you have to price match the Baby Alice whoopsie doo or is $24 the regular target price before TQ?

I bought the Barbie and The Three Musketeers DVD and the Barbie: A Christmas Carol DVD. I price matched each movie with the $9.99 TRU big toy book and then used 2 $5 coupons. One was on the Barbie and The Three Musketeers Box which was $5 off if you bought that movie and one other listed which A Christmas Carol was one of the option, and I also used the Target Web Coupon for Barbie and The Three Musketeers - so each movie only cost $4.99 each!

$24 was the target price...I was already to pm tru @ 24.99 when she said I don't think you want to price match it's only $24 here.

The woman was very polite and made the comment it pays to do a little research before shopping and guessed I had save $100-$150...a woman behind me with a return asked how I did that...I wrote down gottadeal.com on the back of a coupon for $5 off the games and gave it to her. LOL

So glad that ended up working out okay for you... you did the exchange while the sale was still on? I thought you needed to wait a couple weeks for a certain Wii title to come out? Doing it while the sale was still going might have helped you rather than waiting a long time to go back and try. Either way, it was a good outcome and I agree that being nice gets you a lot farther than being angry.

So, the $5 off Barbie coupon works okay on the movie? It's a bit confusing because if you look at the movie on their website, it says "toy coupon available". However, the coupon itself has a specific list of things on it and the movie isn't one of the items listed.

Did it beep for you when you used it?

TIA!

I used the Target Web Coupon I printed off of the Organic Website. It is a bit jumbled but it does say the DVD on it. The problem with those coupons that I printed though was that they weren't scanning at all. Last night we went to the S. Olathe Target and I picked up a couple of the Toy books while I was in the back of the store and put them in my purse. Then I circled around to get the Wii games and DS games I needed and paid for them back at electronics. I decided to use the printed coupons since I had those all cut out nice and neat. The guy tried using his gun on them and they wouldn't work at all. So I found the coupon in the book and he just scanned that twice instead. I know those coupons were legit so I am wondering if it was the quality of my print copy?

After that I went and paid at the register for the rest of my items including the movies. Again my printed web coupon (the one that says DVD) wouldn't scan. The girl there just manually entered the coupon for me (very nice girl). Neither coupon attached to the movies. I went up to CS and had them price adjust from 14.99 to the TRU 9.99 price.

I was a bit worried about my coupon not scanning but I figure it was my printer, IDK. I figured even if I only got the $5 mfq off I would still be happy with $7.50 per movie price.

Ahhh, okay, so for some reason, the coupon out on organic grocer included the movie in its text (kind of jumbled), but the one that is now out in the toy book doesn't. I wonder if the coup from the book would beep if I used it on the movie... OR, if it would just be better to do what you did and use the one from organic grocer so that the coupon doesn't attach, which may be better for the price match anyway. What to do , what to do? LOL

THANKS!
