Thread: I got great items for 75% off at Wal-Mart today

  1. #1

Just wanted to share with you that Wal-Mart in Dyersburg, Tn. has 75% off today. I got a 7ft. pre-lit fur tree for $19.11. Bath sets with hanging shower thingy for $1.15. Brut gift sets for $1.15. I spent $60.00 and came out with a truck load.

My daughter got the nice $19.00 bath sets for $4 something. She bought $25.00 dollars worth and has enough to last till next sale. LOL...she is 13 and was so excited.

One of my sisters was with me and she bought material for tree skirts, aprons and a buggy of gift sets, a 6 and 1/2 ft. tree for $7.00 and she spent about $130.00.

We went in my husbands truck and had the whole back loaded with Wal-Mart bags.

A friend that works there told me last night that it was going to 75% today so we had first picks at stuff.

Oh yea, I got my friend a 4 ft pre-lit tree for $6.00.

Hope everyone has as good of luck that I did.

    Happy Hunting

I went today as well and got a ton of stuff too. I am most excited about the 48 piece gold trimmed dishes with gold utensils, napkin rings, wine glasses etc. for $4.75.! My one regret was that I didn't have more money!

Our store didn't have the dishes set or I would have had to have that to.

I went to 2 Walmarts today and racked up for next year. I had to make myself leave because I was having too much fun filling my basket.

Everyone bought the items at 50% off here. Not a cologne/perfume set available. (thankfully I bought what I really wanted the day after christmas). Almost all bath sets bought too. I was shocked how in 4 days, everything disappeared.

We had a whole huge rack of the bath sets left. It is amazing how much stuff was in that store and never sold before Christmas. The great thing about these are they really don't have any markings on them to make them just Christmas items. I picked them up for birthdays, valentines, etc.

BTW My In Laws are from Yorkville, Tn! When we go to visit each Christmas and summer I shop at the Dyersburg Walmart. Small World!

    It is a small world.

One of my brothers lives in Yorkville. Well, outside of there, more in the country.

My son is getting married next Saturday. The colors are red, white, and silver. I picked up chocllate covered pretzels, 12 red lame table cloths, 16 large and medium red bows, white tapered candles, white votive candles, gifts for the minister, pianist, vocalist, plates for the rehearsal dinner---for about $30.00! Not a bad day!

I just got back tonight, got lots of bath sets, but the best deal was a Mr. Coffee programmable coffeepot with thermal carafe for $15. Reg price $54. Love it!

Is my local walmart the only one that didn't go 75% off yesterday? I'm so jealous. I found a perfume gift set that I really wanted but I wasn't going to buy it for 50% off. I'll have to check back tomorrow.

I went to my other Walmart late tonight. I was shocked that one was stocked. Got an entire overflowing cart full for only $47. Between 4 nieces and nephews, 2 sets of grandparents, my own 2 kids, and husband, this stuff will take care of TONS of the gifts. Also, I bought a lot of the makeup sets and Bratz gift sets. No christmas stuff on them so I can use for birthday presents too. I think my daughter went to 4 this year so Im sure it will be the same next year. I'd rather spend now and save later on in the year

I have bought so much stuff, that gifts this year will barely cost me anything. Fathers Day for my husband and father is done! ALL birthday parties that my daughter will go to will be done too. Even got my daughters teacher done for next christmas. LOL. Love the fact I can spend now and save too next holiday season. now to find the room to store it all!
